This is a pretty ridiculous whine. Don't bother playing higher than 1/2 ever. Go look at a 2/5 table... stacks of black/green/red/blue/white. You might have a heart attack with all the options

What an abortion of political talk at the oe table this morning. Now we have dueling TVs. MSNBC and Fox.

I can here to try and keep my brain out of politics.

tg for quality headphones. Devoting the day to Canadian groups like Triumph and Rush.

Unfortunately when they moved the room to the main casino they forced poker players to walk thru the smokey casino to get to the poker room. In addition when you go from the poker room to the bathroom you frequently get exposed to smoke.

The same problem is true for the other PA poker room - Sands.

I believe that Resorts Catskills is smoke free but it's a bit of a drive.

Yeah, walking through the smoky casino is a drag. I know people who don't play there now because of this change (the old room was smoke free from the moment you walked in the door). But it's just 30 seconds of walking, so I just deal with it.

Having said that, once you're inside the poker room, it's smoke free so you don't notice it any more. So it will be just your bathroom trips, and when you come and leave.

Possibly the tables closest to the entrance might still get whiffs now and then, I suppose, but even then it would probably be better than what you might get when a smoker sits near you at the table and you catch a whiff of their last smoke break.

I’m pretty sensitive but somewhat skilled at holding my breathe a little, grabbing air where there isn’t active smoking, and walking quickly. I have no problem getting in and out and even going to the food court. If I can survive most can as well.

You can get into Sugarhouse. Enter the outside door just to the right of the parking ramp and the poker room is immediately inside. I do find that casino floor to be more smoky than Parx, just easier to avoid to get to the poker room.

Sands is terrible for smoke. Wide open to the rest of the casino.

I've sat next to guys in the new room who reek of smoke. There was even one guy sitting in the 4, me the 3, smelled so bad that I moved to the 1 when it opened and could still smell him. I would have moved to the 8-9 if they had opened.

When you can smoke indoors, around other smokers, the smoke doesn't dissipate like it would if you were standing outside.

**** smokers.

Is there a tentative schedule for the big stack series in 2019 yet? Any idea if they are running it in February/beginning March like 2018? Thanks for any help with this. Trying to plan my travel for the year ASAP.

Is there a regular weekday (DAYTIME only) when the 10/20 Big O has been running regularly?

Ack, the thirdmanwalking site I normally look at/link to for questions like this is down (perhaps permanently). Sorry, someone in the game more often will have to answer.

Yup that is correct.

As for the other two questions immediately above, apologies I don't know those answers.

Driving from Brooklyn, through Manhattan, to Parx tonight. Leaving Brooklyn around 6:30pm, leaving Manhattan around 7pm. Flexible on time to drive back sometime between 2am and 5am. Willing to transport another poker player for $20 one way or $30 round trip. Send me a PM if interested.

2/5 No Limit Hold'em games should be $5 per half hour time, with a $1 taken for "promotions" when the pot hits $50. Anyone that disagrees with me is an unsophisticated, unenlightened low IQ chump.

2/5 NLH regulars at Parx and Sugarhouse should organize an indefinite never-ending strike of the 2/5 NLH games until these stipulations are in place.
