Crazy day yesterday at parx. High hand give away every 15 min 500! Don't hit once but do have one complaint. Parx been my room room 3-4 years. There at least once a week. Arrived at 12pm was 243 on the waiting list. 2 hrs later head to desk to check where I was. Run into 1 reg ask him how long he's been waiting days he just got there. 1.5 hr later I see I'm 14 th on the list. Wtf I pass a table there is the reg sitting already just pissed me off.

11hr later cashed out 836 no high hand but had a great time!!!

Would like to know as well as I was planning on playing Sat and Sun tournaments this weekend.

I'm hoping they have it set up for no downtime during the transition.

I was thinking of going to parx tomorrow and staying at the holiday inn that is in walking distance. price is $119.
Is it reasonably clean these days?

Is it worth it for convenience or should I hunt around for a better room?

Last I heard, which was several weeks ago now, was "early December targeted".

Cocktail waitress comes to our 6/12 OE game yesterday and 3 guys all order a glass of milk. First time I ever witness grown men at the poker table doing this. Haven't been to PARX in months, but asked around to see if anyone knew when the new room was opening. Heard Jan 11th. Not sure how accurate, but confirms what dinesh says.

Also some talk of the regs wanting to ditch the Stud8 rotation and just play Omaha. I hope they don't do that.

Ditto. I much prefer the mix game. Wouldn’t make the trip to Parx if it was straight O8.

I enjoy the 6/12 Limit with a Kill and the fact that we get to play a rotation every half hour. I don't understand why they want to change a good game that consistently goes every day, and multiple tables on the weekend.

It's good to know I'm not the only one with this sentiment.

The XCite Center opening is on the 13th of Jan. I imagine the poker room should probably open around that date. Maybe a cpl of days prior.

Latest update has the new room opening Thurs 1/11. Was told the room would probably be down for a couple hours while they relocate and get everything switched over, but obviously will be faster if they can.

Only 24 TVs in the room. Not looking forward to that change, but I guess we'll see.

Need to figure out where to park now!

There is hoe. Every tuesday. And would go more if a couple more people were around .

Parking in main game is a mess comparitively speaking. I believe green or black gets comped valet.

HOE is a tough one. Never lasts. FW had 5/10 but it didn't last long. I actually stay at Holiday Inn and walk over to get some exercise but that lot is insane.

When the wife and I go eat at Chickie and Pete's in the main bldg I park next to that green gate where the elite people park and cut through that little lot. 2 min walk maybe?

75 hoe has gone at parx every Tuesday for 15+ hours for at least 3 years...probably longer. If you are asking if people will play smaller Like 6/12 no because of o.e. And big o /super.

Very very rarely some mix of 15/30 would break out.

I doubt it.

I see they also removed the info about the upcoming Big Stax event that was scheduled for Feb. I wonder where they are going to have that now that they have less tables than the current room.

Best entrance for the poker room is the side entrance, across from Chickie's and Pete's. So, parking that is to the far left of the main entrance when facing it from outside.
