I don't even mind letting people limp for 2 if they want. It seems like it leads to more players playing bad hands (the "anything is good for $2" thought process). That being said, the post flop play or it being bet pot and later repot preflop seemed to slow down a couple of the daytime dealers on Wednesday (though in general the dealers were very good)
Whatever works though, I was just curious. When paying time, I'm all in favor of anything that speeds up the game.
