...the games are infested with good players & are not soft.
I wouldnt go as far as to say infested, but the room has certainly evolved into a somewhat grinder room. Proper table selection will still yield profitability IME since the doors opened.

Half the people in the Parx room have traveled from NY or a similarly far distance attracted by the serious games. Semi-pro guys like an environment like that.
IME, I would say that the NY population of the room has, with out a doubt, noticably grown since opening. I would peg it @ 30% though, 50 is a bit high when talking 7/365 imo. For some reason I do see a higher percentage of NY folk playing the dailies in the past yearish er so.

Parx is unquestionably the best run, nicest and most comfortable room in the area, but if it's Thurs-Sun I'm almost always going to Sugarhouse to play with the droolers stumbling in from center city bars.
+1 to all
But please try and keep the honeyhole as DL as poss for as long as poss..thank you in advance.

Agreed. Structures/Buy-ins were developed originally by Ari, with a sprinkling of help from, believe it or not, members of 2+2. They were later tinkered/refined slightly by Glantz and Bill I believe.
