Is there a regular weekly stud8 that is bigger than 6-12 spread here? I'm specifically interested in stud8 but I would play HOE or OE as well. Thanks for any help.

There's a $75-$150 HOE game every Tuesday that usually starts around 10 AM. There's also a $10-$20 Big O/ Super Stud game that goes occasionally as well. Other than those two there's nothing.

Hi - I couldn't find anything on the parx blog about the Omaha 8OB event. I did see in the results that they do have about about 75 players. Does anyone know what time it ends by chance?

See BigO/super stud game running

Are these both hi/lo?
Limited to 8 handed?
Super stud is 5 down, discard 2, show 1 then plays out as 7 card stud?
Procedure for running out of cards during stud?
Seen this in a home game where you had to declare hi or lo. Assume it's just cards speak in the casino?

Just a Tuesday thing?

Both hi low. Table is 8 handed. 6 handed only for super stud (rotating 2 get buttons).

Super stud is 4 down, 1 up, discard 2 before 4th Street.

Shuffle in burns if needed on 6th or 7th, community if not enough, no final undealt card needed for 7th only (though they gave been tweaking some of these rules in the last week).

Cards speak, no declare.

Runs multiple times per week now.

Whats the impact on the OE game? More nitty players stay in the OE and the action moves to the Big/Super game?

The kill to 15-30 also makes the game enjoyable. Wish games like this were available in my neck of the woods. Oh well.

Hi,

I haven't been to Parx in a while and plan on coming on Friday night. I'm curious about two things:

1) Can I call in ahead of time to get on a list? If so, how long do I have to show up?

2) Does the 5 -0 or 5/5 PLO game run consistently? How have they been recently?

You can call in for any game other than 1-2 I believe. You have an hour after calling to check in.

PLO runs consistently, though not always every day. Friday night I would say there is a strong likelihood that one or both will be running, but it's not my game so I'm going on memory.

Pretty dead all around tonight. 2nd OE game broke by 6:30. 15/30 was playing short. Think I heard a 1/3 game was running.

They monitor the thread still, to the best of my knowledge, but I couldn't say for sure or how often.

I'm not sure if they've had a paid rep for a while. I'm not even sure Ari was ever a paid rep, my memory of it is hazy.

If someone from the room is reading this, please remind your dealers not to drop rake/jackpot in the middle of a hand. This opens up the possibility of rake being dropped twice. It should always be the last thing they do. I saw one dealer dropping immediately every hand and another do it once.
