I very much doubt it, it's way too close to the 10-10 game that already runs regularly. But feel free to ask.

I would play 6/12 Triple Draw. Only would need 4 more players.

I'm sure they'll get right on that. What a great business opportunity: spend millions to build something you will give away for free in order to...bring a few more people into what is already a wildly successful poker room and casino.

I certainly see why you would prefer this; but I can also see why they would laugh at the idea.

A couple words not in the Parx vocabulary:
  • spend money
  • give away

Hey man, you didn't claim your Parx beach towel last week?!?! The hottest in poolside luxury.

You know what they say: you snooze, you don't get a Parx beach towel.

For those of you on twitter, it looks like they're trying to get feedback on the food menu:

Don't use twitter - if anyone can just suggest more non finger foods that's be good (as it's gross to eat finger foods while playing lol)

I'm pretty sure they will monitor this thread too, though it's probably preferable to post it on twitter if you're able so that it's kept all in one place for them.

When is the next big tournament series?

See that a few Parx regulars are having success at the WSOP.

Early August would be my guess. That has been the timing for the last 3 summers.

I always thought that was the main plan. To build a hotel then move the poker room closer to the casino. I guess they changed their minds because of the possibility of another casino in philly.

It certainly was discussed at some point, but I don't think we've ever heard anything definitive one way or the other. About the only thing we probably can say is that there don't appear to be any plans for construction in the immediate future.

Hotel would increase Parx costs dramatically, while its potential as a destination casino is not that great especially with New York casinos on the horizon.

They would probably be just better off reserving a block of rooms and comping pit players at Holiday Inn.

The OE game doesn't qualify for the $500 high hands does it? It's not bad beat jackpot eligible right?

No, that's a time game. Only raked holdem games are eligible for the high hand promo and the bad beat jackpot.

Thanks. Heading to Parx on Sunday and Monday. What's the rate for that game? It runs every day, yes?

Yeah, they usually get 2 tables for that game and sometimes three. The rate is $4/half hour if there's seven or more players, $2/half hour for six players or less.

6/12 runs every day, often two tables at $4/half time.

I think I've seen that bigger games run. Anyone?
