Cant wait.
Thought for a second maybe it was an announced date to expand # of tables... oh well, hopefully the actual date won't be too much later than that.

Ty repulse. I was wondering what the date was too. For some reason I was thinking It was his release date, but then I don't think they have computers in jail , so that couldn't have been it.

Parx is gonna RULE !! WOOT!!

Re: PARX Poker Thread

If anyone going tomorrow has a smartphone with Internet access, please be so kind as to let us know how full the room is/what the wait lists are like. I'd love to go there after work tomorrow but if it's going to be waits over an hour (which is what I'm expecting), I'll pass.

That's another thing, I hope Parx will have reasonably accurate, real-time game reports on their website.

I hope the 15/30 or 30/60 LHE game is up and running by the time I get there which will be around 7pm.

Re: PARX Poker Thread

If anyone gets there tomorrow or Thursday and could let me know if the 2 5 runs and what kind of wait list there is for it I would greatly appreciate it. Due to class I am probably not gonna be able to make it there until Thursday night but cannot wait to go to this place.

I'll be in the other 2... I don't play NL.

However, if the 15/30, 30/60 or PLO goes, well that's a different story

I just need my flight from Orlando to get in without delay. They're calling for T-Storms down here tomorrow. Generally, I don't much care if I get delayed, but this time - that would be a huge bad beat!

Purely a guess, but I would think about the same number of players as will be there at 1:29pm and 1:31pm.....

Why do people post questions like this, anyway????????

Hey Ari,

It's great to read about all the high limit poker action coming to Parx, but please don't forget about the lower-limit players for Parx Poker as well as all the high rollers. There are plenty, and I do mean plenty, of 2/4 and 3/6 LHE players in the area who would love to sit down at your tables as well. We don't want to keep running down to Chester, but 4/8 and 15/30 are just a little rich for our blood. Even the Borgata's got 2/4 tables. Even if it's only one or two tables, some low-limit hold'em would be great! Thanks!

I have an idea for you VH (but don't tell any1..lol). Tell some1 from here what time you'll be there. This way they can watch the list then put your name on it. He/she would have to kinda time it by size and how fast the list is moving. But I'm sure he/she can get it w/ in 20 mins of you getting there,or having gotten there.

note: if this were to happen for you I would expect that a $10-$20 fee for the persons services would be appropriate...never forget to tip the help

10am this morning. There is a "grand opening" on Friday night, which is just a publicity thing.

If there is interest I'm sure they will spread it.

I guess the cards are finally in the air now, this time for real money.

Has anyone ascertained the hourly comp rate, and whether or not alcohol is free to active players?
