Have to miss most of the big stax for work but thinking of coming up Presidents' Day weekend for the last two events, the 300 turbo and 150 bounty. Any idea how many runners these might get?

The bolded is probably true, but unfortunately that would indeed have to take place in the marketplace.

the 15/30 OE game is helping to take away from the 15/30 holdem game. I played the OE game twice cause I am a fish and wanted to donate and it was quite a bit of the same 15/30 regs. Meanwhile the 15/30 game either didn't run or it ran much later then anticipated.

It's a 500k guarantee so go by that. Don't know how else it can be estimated.

Over the course of three day 1's there will be 310-345 separate entries, thats pretty close estimate. But with the formats that may only be 125-175 individual players total that may fire 1-5 bullets at it , their really isnt a last year, as the formats of entry, reentry and not having to surrender stacks makes a difference.....hope that helps or is somewhat close, Ill be there with my dead money..lol...

the hold'em game doesn't run as well on weekends. It's more likely the 15 game wasn't running.

Do games run all night at parx? Because of the snowstorm estimated time arival 5 am friday I was going to leave at around 2 am and just play 1 2 nl until start of the tourney at 11am. I hve hotel rooms for friday and sat but don't want to get caught driving in middle of snowstorm. Is poker room open 24 seven?

1/2 runs 24/7. It may get down to one or two tables very early in the morning, but you will be able to get a seat anytime.

Yeah this. There's almost always 1 2/5 game running too. I've gotten there at 7:30-8:00 AM on a weekday and there was 2 1/2s and a 2/5 going (even a 6/12 OE that day lol)

Razz isn't approved in PA, so you'll have to make do with HOES.

yeah fine with anything really. just miss playing games besides nlhe/plo but 6/12 OE isn't really worth it imo. Do they allow any of the other games or only HOSE?

Do know the 6/12 has a half kill and is fairly regular so plays at 10/20 a portion of the time.

I do remember hearing that. Although I would prefer to be playing more games than just OE. So I'd rather get a HOSE (plus any other allowed game that people wanna play) game going even if people wanna do it with the same 6/12 with a kill structure.

The big game (150-300 and up) will sometimes play more games than OE. You probably won't be ably to get a 6-12 game going, because they won't want to cannibalize the 6-12 OE game. Your best bet will be 15-30 or higher, assuming you can find other people who are interested.

Would be down for 15/30 or maybe 20/40. Not baller enough for 150/300 unfortunately. If anyone is interested in getting it started with me pm me here and we can exchange cell #'s and get it going fri or sat. Thanks for the info dinesh/others.

Actually according to the PA bulletin dated May 12, 2012 razz is now included in the list of allowed poker games. Maybe the poker room managers just need to be told this and train their dealers, then it can be spread!

Hmm, I know they were planning to spread it, along with badugi, razzdugi, and badaci, but then that just dried up. I thought it was because of some PA complications, but maybe it was just a business decision. I don't think anyone else in PA is spreading any of them either, fwiw, but I'm not paying close attention.

Re: Parx Casino (Bensalem, PA) -- FAQ updated 2011.09.08

So in Dec 2011 Parx requested adding:
* 2-7 Triple Draw
* A-5 Triple Draw
* Badugi
* Big O
* Badeucy and Badacey
* Razzdugi

In May 2012 the PGCB approved Razz (listed as 7 card stud low in the permanent regs), which must have been asked for previously.

I know I heard from dealers that they were being trained for many of the above games, but nothing ever came of it. I see that today (!!) there was a proposed rulemaking released in a bulletin that now approves these games (except razzdugi, apparently). I don't know whether this means the games can be spread immediately, or if these are still just proposed changes that have to be approved.
