Hows gas situation around Parx? I have enough gas to get there. Any issues getting it there?

There are several gas stations on Street Rd between I-95 and Parx.

Small lines on some of them. Wasnt a problem on my way in.

I take it you def should take the turnpike and not route 1 right now?

Gas should not be a problem. The Sunoco if you make a right out of Parx is 24h. Also for all those affected by Sandy, I believe our gas prices have dropped about 10 cents since the hurricane. Almost to 3.50 now! If that doesn't get the room packed on a Sunday I don't know what will. BBJ?! ^_^

Can anyone comment on the Saturday daily's since the starting stack was doubled, Does it play less like a turbo ??

Also, still averaging 75-100 runners ?

After having to play at Parx due to Sandy i experienced a lot that turned me off about the room and makes me think it will never really be top tier.

No free booze -- Drinking is really important to have in a poker room. Attracts recreational players and gets games loose. Whats a wild sat night room without booze?

Waitresses rarely come around

Comps are nonexistent -- Is it really only 1/hr for 2-5?

The player base -- Lots of surly grinder types. Very little lighthearted conversation at the table. Bad environment for pros and rec players alike

Game selection -- 85% 1-2 tables and not much else. Perhaps the 1k buyin structure of 2-5 is hurting the number of tables


There are two things I did like though-- the TVs and 9 handed tables. Oh god do i like 9 handed
