I'm sure it had a good part in it.

When is the rumored date for the move to the main room? I heard September and "a while."

The sooner the better, the empty 2nd floor during the week is creepy, and bad for keeping players.

Ari/Brandon see that the dates for the WPT ME were moved. Are your prelims going to conflict with Borgata now or will you open the series with the Main and then have a couple of weeks of prelims to follow?

So this was quoted on page 323 of this thread and I can't seem to find the original post but can anyone confirm or deny that this is the correct structure for the Tuesday-Thursday tourneys at Parx? I can't seem to find the structure for their daily tourneys anywhere on their website and I was curious if that structure is still up to date. It says 20 mins on Tuesday and I'm assuming that applies to Wednesday and Thursday as well.

Structure...

20 minute levels on Tuesday, 30 minute levels on Saturdays. 15 minute breaks after level 3, 7 and 11

1 - 25/50 - ante 0
2 - 50/100 - ante 0
3 - 100/200 - ante 0
4 - 100/200 - ante 25
5 - 200/400 - ante 25
6 - 300/600 - ante 50
7 - 400/800 - ante 75
8 - 600/1200 - ante 100
9 - 800/1600 - ante 200
10 - 1000/2000 - ante 300
11 - 1500/3000 - ante 400
12 - 2000/4000 - ante 500
13 - 3000/6000 - ante 500
14 - 4000/8000 - ante 1000
15 - 6000/12000 - ante 2000
16 - 8000/16000 - ante 2000
17 - 10000/20000 - ante 3000
18 - 15000/30000 - ante 4000
19 - 20000/40000 - ante 5000
20 - 30000/60000 - ante 5000
21 - 40000/80000 - ante 10000
22 - 50000/100000 - ante 10000
23 - 60000/120000 - ante 10000

How many runners for the bounty last night? Did everyone have a green chip behind or cage slips?

What are the odds of Parx siging up with PokerTickets.com? I like the flexibility of registering online in advance and being able to use a credit card for this is degen heaven!

From my table I had a good vantage point of the tourney area last night and I'm pretty sure there was no tourney last night. Believe they start next Monday.

How is the noon Saturday tourney @ Parx? I am thinking of coming down Sat. and play the tourney and watch the degeneracy that the Belmont Stakes drums up.

Haven't touched a live card in four months!!

So I'm playing the other day and a player missed his small blind only(phone call). He was allowed to return to dead post on the button for his small blind.

Why is this allowed? and why would anyone ever play their SB when they can skip 1 hand OOP and return OTB for the price of the small blind?

Seriously? You now pay one sb and one bb to play 8 hands instead of 9. And the sb is dead if you decide to do this every time anyways.

I understand the SB is dead, just like it is when people buy the button. You don't have to play the BU if your hand sucks(then it will cost you the same SB price). It "effectively" costs you zero more dollars to get the best position possible while never having to play the SB OOP. And I say effectively bc I dont want a strategy discussion going to happen here.

I know its a huge negative to miss any hands at live play, but it seems more advantageous to wait a hand, and come in on the button and post the dead blind money. I was more curious as to why they let you come in on the button and not make you wait til the cutoff like most places do.

If the SB is dead, how is skipping it any different than if you just took your SB and folded it every single time? I know people defend it with more than they should because they can't help themselves or don't understand the value of position, but those aren't the sort of players who are going to exploit the rule.

How much action is there typically in the 15-30 game? I wanted to check it out when I was there Sunday but it wasn't running. 4-8 looked very bleh.

No typo. It's a PLO game with a single five dollar blind.

Does anyone know if Parx Poker room in Bensalem (Philly Suburbs) has wifi for the players to use?

It does not. There is a password protected network being broadcast, but the password is not available to players. I honestly don't know who it is used for.

Any one know why they use $2 chips for 4/8? I"m a big believer in 3-6 or 4-8 chip structures pulling in more action (look at all those chips).

What did they use in the past for 8/16 when it ran? I assume the 10/20 is with $5 chips?

I went to Parx tonight for the first time in a while. Good action at the table, but the bathrooms were in really poor shape. A couple faucets were broken (and covered with bags to show they were out of order), multiple toilets were clogged... just general disarray. Is this typical of how the bathrooms have been or was this just a bad night?
