Think you mentioned there would be a tournament series in late Jan/Early Feb. Any chance you'll be releasing a schedule sometime soon?

FTFY. Wouldn't mind seeing a PLO or O8 on there. Since it's a WPT Regional Series, I wonder who has more say on the schedule, WPT or Ari?

WPT is not happening this year.... Moved to 2013

I believe they are hosting a regional event at the end of February.

Wednesday and Friday this week are looking like the schedule for me. Will be sending out texts day of. Anyone that hasn't already, please shoot me your info if you want to get texts about PLO going at Parx.

Its feb 27- march 6, I will detail the events tomorrow. We will have an Omaha 8 and PLO event.

With the regionals the property has most of the say.

It is happening this year, TV event will be sometime in the summer.

I read on here that for three days last week they were cancelling the Asian buses. I don't know what happened. Last couple times I went, I drove with a friend. When I go by myself its better/cheaper to ride the bus.

I am planning on going Wednesday, will let you know if they are still running.

630 ! None of that boring 2 card nonsense

Ok...I haven't spent much time in brick and mortar casinos the last few years. Black Friday effectively erased half of my bankroll, but I was able to get funds onto Bodog and play there for the last few months. With Bodog's newest 'upgrades' I find it impossible to play there anymore, and am looking for a new home, with Parx being the most convienient. I guess the question I am looking to ask concerns 7 stud action, as well as other 'non-traditional' games, specifically 5 card draw and 2-7 lowball. What is the spread on these games, are they even offered, how much action are these tables on a day to day basis, best times to play(highest traffic hours), etc. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Zero Action in those games at Parx, though Parx does have 7 Stud 8 or better split in some mixed games. Stud Hi is spread regularly at Borgata and Taj though. NL Single draw Lowball is only spread in CA AFAIK, if its TD Lowball you are looking for they spread it at Borgata, but only as part of a mix game. and I know of nowhere in the world that spreads 5 card draw Hi.

bah...too bad...I didn't figure on 5 card or 2-7...but no stud high? Any of the other PA casinos offer any of those games?

mondays, tuesdays, and thurs...but my schedule will change since the semester is almost over.

Just post in here when you are going over ill play any night of the week and start short if need be
