It could also be a transitional way to test how players react to occasionally and briefly having cash in play.
Or how about eliminating one of the 2 complaints I have with the room and actually put chips in the rack so you can rebuy at the table?

The other complaint I have is the $2 chips. I'd prefer they didn't exist at all, but if they have to exist why are they the same color as the secondary color on the $5 chips?

Attention Parx management:

You need to install wifi internet in the poker room. Contact Verizon Fios and I'm sure they can install it for you. I can't imagine it would be more than $500 hundred a month. Foxwoods and Borgata both have wifi. Get with the program. I doubt this would put a serious dent in th 20 millions of revenue this poker room surely has.

Re: Parx Casino (Bensalem, PA) -- FAQ updated 2011.09.08

People are now just being too aggro now with the demands. Parx has complied w nearly every single request ITT...

1. No smoking at bar
2. Hand sanitizers
3. Higher comps in certain games
4. Better food options
5. Air ventilation in bathroom
6. Satellites and tourneys

I'm sure there are a lot more but just a few off the top of my head. Don't hate, appreciate!

Btw the $2 chips are here to stay so you're going to have to manage.

I play at Parx because its closer to NYC than AC. I am not a hater, however, while their may be different food options, they are hardly better.

They do have tourneys there? I like the cash tables at Chester but I'm a much better tourney player. Haven't been to parx yet.

What's up guys? Just want to familiarize myself. Gonna start playing the $10/$10 semi-regularly. I'll usually be sporting an orange Nike hoodie and a white iPhone with black ear buds. If you recognize me say what's up! Hope to see the tables soon. I will search back for the necessary information but if anyone could answer quickly, I'd appreciate it. What is the rake for the $10/$10 game? Thanks!

We need less regs in the games, not more!

The rake is a time charge of $6 every half hour. It goes down to $3 if the game is short handed.

Thanks for the information. I'll be a semi-reg, still a full time student.

There is wifi in the building. It is password protected, I asked the floor for the password and they had no idea what it was.
Does anyone here have the password or if someone from management reads this, do you have it?

I'm pretty sure if they wanted people to use it, they wouldn't have it password protected.... just sayin

I am so sorry to hear that. He PM'ed me earlier this week and we exchanged phone numbers. We had been talking about poker a bunch via text for the last week or two.

My thoughts are with his family and loved ones.

Wow are you serious? That's really sad. I talked to Alex a few times and he was very nice as well as a solid poker player. Condolences to his family and friends. RIP Alex.

I'm in total shock right now. Alex was one of the good ones always smiling, never had a bad word to say about anybody. Way to young. RIP Alex.

Alex was an amazing guy... He invited me into his home game, befriended me, and was always inviting me to some activity or another. The kind of person no one could hate, friends with everyone. My world, Parx, and poker in general is a less bright place because he is gone. RIP buddy, you will be sorely missed.

I dont mean to be inappropriate, insensitive, or to offend anyone, but what was the cause of his death? I played with him at parx not too long ago, he was fine.
