Sounds like you're a winner. Take a shot buying in for $500 and move down if you lose $2k or so.

That's a reasonable amount to take a shot at the 2/5 there. I have run really well but have had some terrible sessions also. Just depends

I know the feeling, when I play 10/20 shots I buy in for $2k and when I get closer to $5k deep I definitely play suboptimal because of my discomfort with the stakes and effective stack sizes.

Edit: Pasterbator, I only started playing 10/10 daily in early September. I play 5-6 days a week. Asian 20-something. I doubt the way I play is particularly memorable but I am on an insane heater right now.
Are you by any chance the asian 20-something dude that limp reraised AA vs my KK for a ~4500 pot reaaally late the night that the phillies got knocked out?

Its kind of funny how just by posting styles with both you and another player who posts here I could link it to who you are in real life. Wasn't 100% on either but had one confirmed last week and now you confirmed who I thought you were just now. Of course it helps you post what games you are playing in at times. Still neat the way the personality seems the seem in person and anonymously over the internet

Really? Do I post like a nit?

I feel like I post more aggressively than I play.

This is making me paranoid. Are you going to delve into my posting history to get reads on me? Ugh. Good thing I was much worse at poker when I played online SSNL.

It helps when the poster is a reg in a game with a player pool of about 10.

By the way, ashi, I've sat in that 10/10 game a few times. It was never any good (maybe I just was unlucky with my timing?) I recognized most of the table as solid players from 10/25 and 5/10 games at the Borg.

I always thought that the 2/5 game with the 1k buy-in had almost as much EV, with much less variance.

Unless certain players are sitting, it doesn't seem worth the jump. What are your thoughts?

You are mostly right, but there are a few people that make it worth sitting in if they are there.

I'm sure if Nick is sitting in it then its a good game, his table selection is second to none.

Sick needle.

Calling out someone's losses the next day on 2+2 takes needling to another level. I approve!

No that's not what I meant. The game Nick and I were in was completely terrible for hours.

Yeah. With only one table of 10/10 usually running (maybe with a must move game as well) game selection doesn't really play into it unless you're willing to move back down until the game picks up.

There were 3 games at the time but you still can't game select because they must move into the must move into the main game.

LOL. Subtle but excellent needle even if it wasn't meant to be.

At 2/5 I really thought I table changed well. At 10/10 I can't table change and it sucks. cl0r0x, my ego is probably over inflated at this point because I'm on such an absurd heater I definitely am playing in games that I shouldn't. I still think most of the younger top regs are better than me.

Like snamuh said at one point last night the must move was literally 6 pros one decent reg and one semi-fishy reg.

That said, there have been a few times when the main 10/10 game sucks and the must move was juicy so I either dinner list it to temporarily drop to the must move or I play 2/5 for an hour to get reset to the must move.

LOL, the main game must have been really juicy if you all sat there for hours.
