Anyone know when the STT will start if they haven't already started? Also, do the buy ins listed on the parx poker blog include rake?

That was just a few posts ago.

Do the math. $65 – 2 winners $250 each

500 prize pool so it's obv a 50+15.

Harrah's AC has a sign that says SNGs are available all day every day.

However, in the last seven years, I have not seen a single SNG played because, while players have expressed an interest from time to time, there has not been 10 players at the same time, based on my observations. Granted, I'm not there 24/7, but often enough to see what is happening.

In fact, they don't even have any SNGs on the "interested" list on the monitor.

So, Parx may indeed be different, but keep in mind that you may wait for hours to gather enough interested players.

I imagine it would be like other less popular game types like stud and OE or other mixed games in that the players who play regularly either explicitly or implicitly agree on a time where they'll all gather to play SNG's. A bunch of the guys who play those kinda of games try to round up a core group to get a game started in this thread all the time.

True, but since Parx is running a tourney series right now, they might be more likely to run.

The SNGs filled up relatively quickly yesterday. $85 (70+15).

I'm going to be there with a bunch of a friends in a few weeks. Should be 15+

Will Parx let us have a private 1/2 NL table?

Wouldn't it make more sense to play a home game with 15 friends and not pay a rake??

We want the convenience of dealers and we aren't nits. It's a forum meet up, so we are all traveling. Wouldn't be fun playing in a hotel.

Guys, be careful about speeding. I got nabbed on 95N coming up from Philly at about 12:30 AM on Sunday morning / Sat night. I got ticket and was pulled over just after getting off exit 37. This may have been mentioned before, but be careful.

Would knowing that a STT was already in progress really help much? They don't put interest lists on the Live Game Report for cash games.

I always thought the live game report ran directly off of the Bravo system anyway. I'm not sure if they could program it any differently.

i can't see why they wouldn't...i know a lot of other casinos did this...usually they asked that you pay time for the half hour or something...just call in advance so that they have the extra two dealers or something for you.

Probably already addressed somewhere in the thread and I apologize for asking again.

What type of SNG's are available at Parx? I was playing in Event 6 yesterday of the Series and heard a few different annoucements regarding SNGs forming and did not know which ones they have available?

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, this is good as well. I was just talking in general in the Poker Room, what the schedule was for the SNG's if there were any? Outside of the Poker Series.

Thanks.

30% vig on the 50 +15
21.5 on the 70 +15
16% on the 120 +20
For the rake I would not play below the 120

If you don't leave at the scheduled time, you are "stand-by" - you only get a seat on a different bus if one is available. You don't have to pay extra.

Can anybody report the structure of the SNGs/satellites or how long they have been running on average?

I can't comment on how long they run, but I do remember Ari or Brandon mentioning the structures will be the same as the Tuesday daily's.

Any idea if this is also the buy-in to 5-5 PLO?

Also, if Ari or Brandon could post sng structures, that would be nice. At the very least, starting chips and how long the levels last.
