Re: PARX Poker Thread

Hello All,

I apologize for not being around the last couple of weeks. I was in vegas this week to check out the wsop. My goal is to bring that kind of event to Parx someday, it's lofty but it's my goal. We are excited for the Parx open poker classic, it will be the first of many more to come. Please let me know if you any questions.

Kind regards

Ari

Bingo! Summer weekend, tends to be a bit tighter. Last night was crazy loose though, every 2/5 table I was at was 25-40 pf with multiple callers.

The big advantage the 2/5 game has at Parx is the 1k max buy in. When you get a nice deep table its fun.

Really like the idea, I will discuss with the team. Thanks for the note.

Hi Ari,
Have you decided on awarding trophies, bracelets, rings, or something else to the winners of each event?

Welcome back, Ari. Do you have any plans to run satellites into your series games? A few $50-$100 satellites to the smaller events would be cool, and maybe one or two to the main event.

Should be an awesome series for you guys. I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes.

Re: PARX Poker Thread

Anyway to get enough interest to run a 10/20 or 15/30 Omaha8 game? 6/12 is just such low stakes

Re: PARX Poker Thread

Great Idea. I think 1/3 is the ideal limit for a low-stakes straight PLO game. If only they allowed running it twice. Allowing cash to play or playing behind is a whole other thing...

Opening raise would be $12. Hopefully red chip game after the flop.

We'll be here all night come on down!

The 1/3 is open up to 12 but its a red chip game after the flop. PA law doesn't allow rounding up so its rounded down to the nearest 5 post flop.

Just look for the dude with a beard and more than likely some sort of food spilt down the front of his T-shirt.

I'll try to make it out tonight for PLO. Maybe there will be two tables going?

@Kingcod - I can definitely make it out tomorrow night and I'd be interested to get a 8/16 or 15/30 O8b game going.
