I have never heard this before, and do not believe it to be true. You get a button just like everyone else. You post if you want to come in later (after rebuying), or can wait until the blinds come around to you again if you prefer. It is possible that the rule is different between NL and LHE, but I would be surprised to hear it.

The awesome thing about America is that you are free to speak your mind about things, and prove to everyone around you what a jackass you are. Well played.

nowhere did i say anything about "playing from behind." the issue i take with the dealers is when they tell me i have to post the big blind after i just got felted. the whole reason i missed my blinds is because parx doesn't allow me to rebuy at the table! and the chip runners are too slow, so the fastest way to buy more chips is to run to the cage. but no cashier is fast enough to get you back to the table in time for your big blind. in this situation, a player should not have to post. and if a dealer makes me do it, then it's going to cost him, not me. comprendé?
You said you mentioned to the dealer that you were "$500 behind" before proceeding to the cage. Call it what you want...

Sir I believe I understood your issue quite well. You feel that players don't need to post any of the blinds if they miss any because they step away to reload on chips because they were felted. When the dealer asks you repost you feel you should be given a "free ride" not to post and to compensate for the dealer doing his job you will then take it out of the tips the dealer could possible earn moving forward. Plus you feel that the "slow" chip runners should be stationed personally right next to you to instantly allow you to reload on chips so that you would not miss a hand. lol. Then again the cashier should instantly have your stack waiting for you...lol

Am I right with the above assesment?

Its players like you who give the other 99.9% of poker players a bad name. Always bitching, complaining and pointing the blame at others around you because you feel you are entitled to certain treatment. Please if you can't play by the rules that are in the poker room stick to your home games that allows you to bend them at will.

Currently on the live game report (http://www.parxcasino.com/gamereport/):

1 table of $1/$2 LIMIT holdem

Is this a typo/mistake, or a new micro-stakes offering catering to former online players with small bankrolls? Is it even conceivable that this game could be raked profitably?

It was a mistake surely, the other night 30/60 No Limit came up and it was the limit game. It's already fixed

Of course it can be raked profitably; it just can't be played profitably.

I personally think it is stupid that one cannot play behind. I do not want to carry around black and purple chips and worry about losing them while I am playing. Any casino that that doesn't sell from the rack should allow players to play from behind. If that is too difficult to implement/train the dealers, then the current ineffective way can suffice.

I saw the 1/2 PLO game got off the ground last night. Even had a short waiting list at one point.

It got off Friday night too. Its really fragile though, the fish only have one buyin and the nits won't play short so it goes from a full table with a list to broken in 2 hours. Did get to play some heads up plo for a while tho, after all the nits left, that was fun.

Oh an just put some blacks or purples in yer pocket and stop bitching.

On another note, I feel good about the prospects of a Six Game running in a few weeks (I will be away for the next two weeks, of course someone else can always try and get it going..)

Did some recruiting and picked up 3-4 more interested parties

How about making the game a two-way game.

1/2 PLO
1/2 PLO 8o

Why would you be so much more worried to hold two purples and lose them, as opposed to holding a thousand cash and losing it?

There is none, tournies don't start until mid-May.

Chris plays the highest stakes including 300/600 hose+ 50/100 nl+ plo game at borgata. I would guess 10/25 min.

Also its much easier for a chip to fall out then cash when opening your wallet.

so for any dealers who might read this, here's a little tip: if you make me post after i get stacked, even though i was only gone for a few seconds to buy more chips, i can promise you that my $5 post will be coming out of your toke box.
I agree that they should absolutely be able to sell out of the box. Is that a PA thing? I have only been to Harrah's Chester once and I don't remember if they sell or not.

As far as this situation goes....of course you have to post. You missed blinds. Doesn't matter if you were buying chips or taking a smoke break. If you were in mid position I'm sure he wouldn't have made you post (as a new player).

That's what I thought, but I would probably play if they slummed it at 5/10 or something.

True, it's easier for chips to fall out but you technically also incur a risk driving to the casino.

Getting felted sucks. But imo you feel more like a loser if you have to leave your seat to go to the cage or sit there watching waiting for chip girl. Much better to calmly take chips out of your pocket like it's no big deal..chit happens.

Is this a typo/mistake,
I've never heard of Parx spreading anything less than $4/8... it's their philosophy/plan, right?

Typo, I'm sure.
