This is a pretty funny statement. I personally like to shortstack my buy in at PLO for a purpose. (PLO'ers should know the strategy). There is a reason to that type of madness.
Honestly, I don't think the PLO regs are "fanatical", we just want to bring in some new players to the game and if tweeking how it is spread at PARX takes a bit, I'm down. It takes time for a game to come together in a room. Imagine if that when the poker boom had started, instead of NL Holdem, the championship game being televised was PLO High? There is the possibility that the game everyone would be playing would be PLO. So in essence, we are having to work against the grain. Disagreements will be disagreements, but dialogue on an internet poker board is never bad, those who don't care just have to scroll down.
BTW, I have to say that I been going to PARX now pretty regularly and I have to give it to Ari and his staff. Hands down have done a great job.
