2. There is no more bar so drunk donks now have to wait for waitresses to bring their alcohol to them. This is -EV imo.
3. Parking is a nightmare as you have to park closer to the main casino. One of the things I loved about Parx east was the relatively decent parking situation.
4. You have to walk past a smoke filled slot area to get to the poker room. It is disgusting.
5. The TV's are farther away and harder to see.
6. There are no table numbers above the tables so you have to ask/guess where your table is when the floor tells you.
7. The felt on the new tables is shifting/coming undone already. Some dealers have been complaining about it. I could see it causing cards to flip over more frequently.
The only thing I like better is the lighting and the fact that it is right next to the degens who may have a good night of blackjack or craps and want to give poker a shot.
I might start driving the extra 20 min to sugarhouse, but I will give Parx a few more tries first.
Seat 1 sucks and I was having trouble getting reception on my IPhone but overall I think the room is great
2. I never really saw people at the old Circle Bar. Poker players are lazy. They call for chip runner when the cage has no line and it's 50 feet away. I doubt this is much of an effect.
3. Think my walk from car to casino was exactly the same, at any rate I'm not sure what you are talking about it being a nightmare.
4. It's like a two second walk through that area
5. TVs are huge. I was in the middle and I could see more TVs much better than the old room. TVs in the little waiting room. Overall TV situation much better imo
6. That's like the vast majority of rooms. Not that big of a deal, people will quickly learn.
7. Did not see this.
In general I think it is a big upgrade. Nicer room, with better lighting. So many eating options other than waiting at least an hour for bad food service.
