Hello guys,
Earlier today 4 am I go to parx give them my adult learners permit play some 2 5 till 6 am go to sleep no problem. In the afternoon I get up 1 pm go to the poker room to play the stax event, hand them my id and it comes back saying there is some error. They try it a couple more times and call a manager elliot over who says if it's not going through the machine I have to leave the premises and after offering my social number passport number or saying look at the cameras bc it worked yesterday he threatens to call security and force me out and as I don't want to be banned I leave. It's a valid connecticut state id and not sure what my options are.

Get a license or a passport.

"I played here yesterday" is lolbad

That whole post was lolbad. Gotta understand casinos get slammed and fines hard for underage. Cash games they card you if think you are underage. Tourney leaves a paper trail for the gambling board. They will check very carefully and if any doubt say NO.

Not to mention, who the **** knows their "passport number". I used to work at a liquor store, if someone gave me a passport number as a way to validate their age, I would have laughed in their face because it seems like only something someone would know if they were trying to use someone else's passport as id because the logical thing that most people do is to just carry your passport...

Not as far as I know, it's still in the plan for the future. But it was never announced as being imminent, and remains so.

I thought I remembered reading it was being planned for March. Or when the lease is up? When is the lease up?

Anyone have any thoughts for a first-time visitor? I'll be in town for work for a week later this month (the 13th-17th) and will mostly be looking for daytime games as nights are spent with clients. Mostly looking to play 2-2 and 5-5 PLO or 2-5 NLHE, but curious what time of day those games start? (or do they go through the night consistently?)

Thanks in advance

Just come when you're available and see what's running.

But if you want some historical data, this site is good. These are the PLO games, but you can also pull up the NL games if you want.

You know it!

But seriously, thanks for the thoughts. I figure Bravo is a good help, I just thought I'd see if any of the regulars had any insight.

I see Bravo lists a 2-2 PLO and a 5-5 PLO most regularly. What are the min/max buy-ins for these games? I checked the FAQ in the first post of this thread and I checked the Parx website and neither of them list the 2-2 game. The 5-5 game is posted as a 500-2000 buy in, but I was just curious. Thanks in advance!

Thanks, I updated the OP with the 2-2 PLO info. I'm not sure what rake they take though.

I also revised the frequency and times of the major games as well to make them more accurate to the recent past.

Early morning flight was cancelled, but mid-afternoon was good. I landed a little before 4 without much of an issue. If any of you play during the day, I'm sure I'll see you tomorrow (or possibly later tonight depending upon the roads). Gotta bring some Detroit poker action to Parx!

Ok, so what's the reasoning behind never rounding up in the 2-2 PLO game? In a time raked game, it really slows down the game when the dealer is trying to figure out big pot sized bets (someone bets 36, someone else pots, someone else repots). Rounding up to increments of 5 post-flop sure would speed up the game. It would also help if you could straddle for 5 instead of 4.

Just my two cents as an outsider
