Looking for players to start a 6/12 Limit Hold'em game. I'm new to Limit and the 15/30 is a little too big for me. Anyone interested?

I'd play but I only get out there once a month on Saturday days. If you want to play limit you are going to have to play something really low and crappy like Harrah's 2-6? game or just do what I did--start playing in the Parx OE game. Its generally a good game to play.

You can also go down to Maryland live for 4/8 which was a very good game last December when I went there.

borgata 10/20 is your best bet. play a lot smaller than 15/30.

6/12 is basically nil to get going, as 99.9% of people won't play less than 5 or 6 handed. For the game to get traction it would need to play short.

Yeah its a shame that it stopped running so quickly. It went strong for about 2 months. A lot of players played the limit holder while waiting for seats in the OE game. It's also a shame they can't/won't add Holdem to the OE rotation. H.O.E

You get trapped. You put your name for 6/12 limit or 10/20 O8 and when they call it everyone waits to see who is going over before giving up their seats. What happens is that people put there name on the list but when faced with a choice of joining a new game or taking the OE game they often choose the safe option cause if the other game doesn't go or doesn't last they are waiting awhile to get back on the OE tables.

Also does anyone know max/min buy in if this does get off the ground once in a while?
Usually see 1 table going in prime time.

It just got added about a month ago. Pretty sure it is $100-$500. No free alcohol like Harrah's as far as I know.

How is rake and player rewards here compare mohegan and Foxwoods.I'm a 2/5 NL player.
Thanks!

Rake at 2/5 is $5+1. Comps are $1/hr (actually a little less, but I don't know the exact number they are using now).

I have no idea what they are at MS or Foxwoods.

Played 1/3 today in the afternoon and had a good time. Min 100 max 500 as poster above told me. Really nice for that to be running since I want to be playing live cash during the day before coming home to play online MTTs in NJ at night. I used to play 1/2 a lot and had no problem with it and am pretty confident I can beat 2/5 and my roll can handle it, but would prefer to have some sort of bridge between the two before starting 2/5. Great way for me to start!

I shoved 200 effective in $400 pot on river of 93985 board and had a nice friendly player call off with 66 lol so the game is certainly beatable. Looking forward to playing it more in the future.

I'll play 10/20 (or even 4/8, but prefer 10/20) HORSE and/or TD27 or whatever if people are interested.

The 6/12 OE is such a fixture in the room that trying another 6/12 limit game probably would not work.

Stud 8 is my favorite game and the 6/12 OE is definitely "good" in terms of no one constantly putting you in tough spots. But the cranky regs there, man, are no fun to deal with for hours at a time.

Its about 100 fold less cranky than the 10/20 O8 game at Borgata I played in. Stopped the game completely about a hypothetical player walking situation. For like 5 minutes.

Guess I'm getting used to the east coast mentality. Parx regs in that game seem kind of friendly now. Part of its the game--O8/OE doesnt attract the warm and fuzzy casuals. Only non-fun people at Canterbury in Minnesota at the 6/12 O8 table.

Ha, so true, for some reason. I've played both Taj (RIP) 5/10 and Borg 10/20 and 100% agree with your assessment.

Btw, a couple of people in the Borg forum are trying to get a HORSE game going there tomorrow if you're interested.

Obviously they haven't put a GTD pool on there upcoming Big Stax because (I'm guessing) they don't know what to expect. With 7 starting flights and a 200 dollar big in, does anyone think 3k entries is reasonable?

Any guesses to number of entries?

There is no running it twice in any game at any time. House rule.

I heard that in PA they do not allow people to run it twice. So I think there is no run it twice in any PA casino,

Might be a "special circumstance" but they ran it twice on poker after dark at Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh.
