Hope someone can answer my questions.

Is there a regular PLO going? Only weekends?

Can I take the amtrak from NYC to cornwell heights and then shuttle or cab it to parx? What are the best price/value hotels?

I was also wondering if a regular PLO game ran, and what hotels are the best price and value. I'm going to be coming to Parx for the first time in early December. Thanks guys!

Has anyone played the Wednesday noon tourney? How does it draw?

I'm off tomorrow and am gonna check it out. Hopefully others are off as well and it gets 75+

Buying in with higher denomination chips is just a convenience. You really don't need more than a few stacks of red chips. Do you have trouble counting stacks when they have a lot of higher denomination chips? As long as they keep them in front, I don't see the problem.

PLO has been up in the air recently. If there is even a consistent day of the week it is probably tues. If you look at the bravo app they give u a few choices of hotels w special Parx rates.

I have never played at Parx but am planning to stop by soon. Are you allowed to listen to an iPod while playing or is there a no electronics rule?

lmao, you can listen to your iPod. Parx is very laid back. It is not the WSOP Final table. Just cover your dick and walk in. The staff will seat you.

How does this place compare to Harrah's Chester for 2-5 NL?

I see in bravo that the # of games are about the same on a Sun afternoon.
I typically play at Charlestown but am travelling to philly this week on work.

I'm trying to get a sense of mid-week - (Tu/Wed), late-night action at 2-5 NL

Hoping to stop by on Wed evening while in town for a night in Philly for work. Driving in from the north, so it looks like Parx is pretty much on the way.

Questions:
- Any recommendations on where to park that would be convenient for the poker room? Will have company laptop so not looking to valet.
- is this place big? Are we talking something that resembles Foxwoods, or something that resembles a strip mall?
- kind of bummed there is no nightly tourney on Wed. Any chance they run sng's or a tourney that is not listed on the Dec calendar?
- approx how many tables of 1/2 and 2/5 are likely to be running?

Poker is in its own building separate from the main casino. Follow signs for Parx East, thats where the poker room is.

There is plenty of parking right in front of Parx East.

The place is big. its a legit casino.

No sng's.

check the bravo app for exact games but wed night should have at least 12-17 1/2 games and a half dozen 2/5NL.

Just moved to NJ and grinding the 1/2 NL at parx. Is there any other regulars here reading this that also play the 1/2 NL game? Also, how is the action like at 4/8 and/or 6/12 omaha hi-low?
