Thanks. Someone also said frankford stop and then a bus. Hopefully this route runs on a Friday morning. Thanks again.

Does parx offer any deals on rooms for poker players?

And is there wifi in the poker room yet?

Depends on the game, if you are asking about 1/2 NL it is 24 hours a day.

What kind of question is that? 1/2 goes around the clock. What game are you trying to play?

Its the kind from someone who has never been there. Plo or 2/5 would be ideal.

Okay I was confused as to why you asked twice. 2/5 will probably run through from the night before on a Friday. PLO goes often but no set time. Check the Bravo for when a list starts to form.

I heard that within the next week Parx will be getting approval to spread many of the usual mix games: triple draw, badugi, etc. Don't have a complete list at hand, sadly.

that's cool, help them cater to the bigger players. No one will touch those games at lower than 40/80. Sucks as they are a lot of fun to play.

Any concrete word on when the move is supposed to take place? It will be a big boost to the room. Room's always better when people can walk in and gamboool without having to walk through 2 zip codes to find the poker room.

Yeah, 6/12 (and 10/20) OE game(s) are pretty solid. Can't see any mix games going.

They'll have razz, triple draw, badugi, big O, baduci, badacey, razzdacey, and razzdugi.

I believe the last four will be split pot games with the first three.

People would play big O i'm sure. It's kind of silly in limit format, but plo big O is a good game.

maybe if several customers politely demanded them, they would. I may be there on wednesday afternoon, and if they're ready to spread I'm ready to play!

I would gladly play any low level mix, razz, or triple draw.

I'm sure they won't want to kill off the 6/12 OE, but seems like 10/20 OE has started to run more often lately. So maybe 6/12 could morph to HORSE?

Is there a softer 2/5 NL game in the world than at Parx?

Sands is also good, but the $1K buy in and the wanna be hyper aggros make Parx much juiceier.

Personally I'd love to see this, but it's not gonna happen.
That game is solid & popular, and the regs don't wanna change anything.

IMHO, the best way to get a HORSE (or any non-OE) game spread is @ 4/8 or 8/16. Neither would interfere with the 6/12 or 10/20 OE games.
My guess is that 4/8 would attract more people at first.

ok, so when they're finally willing to spread razz, are you up for organizing a 4/8 HORSE game? I'd be into it, and would try to drum up other interest!

Why not just play a game that doesn't interfere with the OE game at all. Like straight Badugi, or 2-7, or some kind of badugi/razz/2-7/baduci/razzduci/whatever mix. I'll play if it's in the 8/16 to 15/30 range.

Also, I was told yesterday that it would be another month because the PA gaming board is being lame.

Lots. If you check the parx website there's a list of hotels that will give you a special rate if you have a parx card.
