This is the perfect forum to voice complaints and suggestions. Many of the staff and regs read and post here.

The staff have addressed and corrected many of the issues that originated right on this forum. The room has come a LONG way since its initial growing pains.

It's also not a matter of posting here OR speaking to the staff, fwiw.

Ended up playing the nooner yesterday. Ran good and ended up with a decent cash.

A pretty absurd incident came up involving the TD and a player's chips. After a break, a player said he was short 30-40k in chips. I had glanced at his chips before break and agreed with his assessment. I also did a quick sum of the current total tournament chips and came up with 40k ish less than the supposed chips in play. They paused the clock and checked the cameras. It turns out while coloring up, the floor pushed 2 stacks of 1ks forward to color them up, got distracted, and ultimately forgot to give the player 8 5k chips. It's good that they caught it, but the floor should focus doing their jobs rather than socializing.

The tournament clock wasn't very accurate throughout and when the dealer alerted the floor about an open seat, she just said ok and resumed her conversation without looking to see if the tables were balanced (they weren't). I think they do a good job overall and this is pretty standard in most tournaments I've played anyway, but improvement is never a bad thing.

It is my understanding, beginning later this month, the borgata will be allowing players to run it multiple times. This is only for 5-10 NL and higher, I was told. Any chance Ari will consider this?

Sounds like a good idea at the higher levels...Split pots keep money on the game longer which is better for the casino. Its not like it happens on every pot just the big all in ones.

Weird story from yesterday. Want to thank Parx floor people & security for helping me..,

I was sitting at TBL 1 waiting for a 2/5 game. I had only played 1 hand when the new game was called. Went to cashier to get $500, came back to the table racked up the other $300 and went to the 2/5 game. Like an hour later I realized I forgot my portable iphone charger at tbl1. Went back and it was gone. Looked everywhere and accepted that someone stole it no big deal.

3 hours later some dude taps me on the shoulder saying that somebody outside has my charger. I find it strange why the person with the charger would send some random inside to tell me. I decided to bring a security gaurd with me. Once we get outside the guy who tapped me on the shoulder now tells me that he doesnt know where the person with my charger went.

Later I realized the kid who tapped me on the shoulder was the person sitting next to me at tbl 1. I homestly think he was going to rob me if I went out there alone.

Parx security guys offered to escort me to my car later which was nice. I cant confirm the guy was setting me up, but it smelled fishy.

Most likely playing the $230 tomorrow at noon...do the half hour blinds allow for a whole lot more play compared to the $120s in the week with 20 min blinds? And anybody have an average number of entrants for the Saturday tourney? Sounds like it could be fun.

Against this, don't want to see less hands an hour in a time rake game. Lots of people play under rolled and will be looking to do business a lot.

I play in a ton of games where business is allowed.

I never do business. I'm pretty vocal about it, so people know before we get mixed up in a big pot.

You'll notice people really slow down against you, especially with draws, if they know it's all-or-nothing.

I DO however think that business is good for the game. People are gambling more and feel like they can take looser shots if business is allowed.

If you ever want PLO to be a game that gets serious play, running it multiple times is almost a requirement, moreso at lower stakes, IMO. The variance is just too large to not be able to run it twice for almost everybody's bankroll.

This is my opinion for PLO at any location, be it Parx or Borgata or anywhere else.

Thank you for clarification. A few dealers mentioned a bad beat jackpot coming soon, any truth to this? If so can it be left out of the 10/10 game?

this is terrible news if this is true. Most 2/5 players ive spoken with have no interest in a bad beat jackpot either.

If you turn into every casino, you are just as plain and dull as they are.

If you do add the BBJ, don't forget to also add 2/4 Limit and $65 Daily Tournaments so you can complete the degen hat trick.
