That would be a bigger game than 10/10.

10/20 is bigger than 10/10. 10/20 only runs when there are whales around. I have nothing against the game really I am just making observations that support the position that it probably won't run.

Also, 10/10 is going stronger than ever. People will play what the fish play and the fish now come to play 10/10. Look what happened to the 2/3NL game.

Planning my first trip to Parx tomorrow. My friend is bringing his wife and he wanted to know if they would let her sit behind him at the poker table and watch. Anyone have any idea if they allow this? Apparently they do it all the time at the Borg without a problem.

Giving PnL's for well known recreational players is not going to encourage them to come back in the future. No one likes having their ish posted all over the internet.

Read both threads. Seems the opinion is that Parx has more seedy players but larger room. Sands is noisier but will comp drinks. Both rooms don't offer a lot poker variety, at least not compared to AC/Foxwoods.

Btw, the 2-3 drink girls I saw weren't that hot. They were cute but from what I read, I was expecting gorgeous.
In my admittedly unscientific opinion, I'd give the vast majority of the waitresses the "cute" ranking and 1-2 of them I've seen I'd call gorgeous.

Alright thx. I'm gonna try a combo of I95->US1 coming down. Vice versa on the way back.

Even if you're coming down I-95, I would suggest getting off at Route 1 (in PA) and going around the back way, this will avoid some of the slowdowns on I-95 and minimize your time on Street Road as well.

Coming from NYC to Princeton, Route 1 will be hellishly filled with lights and traffic. I would never ever suggest it.

I don't drive from NYC myself, so take this with a grain of salt, but my suggestion would be to take the NJ Turnpike to the PA Turnpike and get off at Route 1 right next to Street Road.

Failing that, take the NJ Turnpike to exit 8 or 8A (or 9 if it's not during the day or rush hour), then get to Route 1 from there and take it the rest of the way.

Did the quality go down? The girls weren't bad but they were typical, about the same at any other casino like Borgata.

Noodle Bar has also cut back their hours significantly, hours are now listed as:

monday - thursday: 6pm - midnight
friday: 6pm - 2am
saturday: 12pm - midnight
sunday: 12pm - 8pm

I've definitely eaten lunch there before on weekdays and eaten there as late as like 3am on a Saturday, so the hours have been cut way back.

Once nice thing I've noticed about Parx as of late is that dealers seem to be good about refusing player demands for new setups, extra washes of the cards, IWTSTH demands when there's no possible way collusion could have occurred, and other things that serve no purpose other than to slow down the game. On the one hand I want the fish who think washing the cards help staying at my table, but on the other hand I don't think I've ever seen a player leave because the dealer wouldn't wash the cards.

washing the cards when using 2 decks thru a shuffle machine couldnt be more pointless. I see regs ask for this all the time. I'm amazed that people think washing the red deck will help randomize the blue deck in the next dealt hand.

You're applying logic to superstition? :P

Can you believe some poker "pros" try to talk people out of their superstitious behaviors?

They stopped the asian buses when the table games and slots at Parx East basically went to being open only on the weekend.
