Ari,

Thanks for your participation in the thread. While you are talking to the Food and Beverage folks, is there any chance you could ask them to prepare some healthy meals? There is literally nothing fresh and healthy to eat at Parx while playing a long poker session.

Thanks.

+1

Ari was very responsive to a problem I encountered earlier this month off the table when another floor person could not rectify the problem. I am glad I play my 150hrs/month of poker all at Parx.

But because I do spend so much time there, are massage girls still on the horizon? Seems like money left on the table for the casino and whoever would be the contractor. Waiting for approval from the PGCB? Seems like you guys need approval from them just to change a **** lightbulb.

Thanks Ari!

Perhaps it was the waitress just didn't know the price or something. I hope it's all good now

I just wanted to thank Ari and the management at Parx for enabling the BravoPokerLive app in their system. Now those of us with smartphones can quickly check the game report with our app instead of having to go through the website. You guys continue to make Parx the place to play in the tri-state area!!

+1. I am in South Jersey and it takes me almost the exact same time to get from where I live to Parx or Chester, and about 20 minutes longer to get to AC. I wonder why the other places don't update the app.

Because Parx just face pwns the competition. The other casinos are just check/folding. Awesome app... Now I know when they spread the 1-3 stud at Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino... No really, very cool app.

Excellent, thank you. Parx site won't work on my tablet (Droid 3.0) even though it works on my phone (Droid 1.5) so now I can check it from either device.

Can someone give me their opinion of the 10/10 NLHE game? What's the min/max buyin? Does it play any different from a 5/10? Does Parx ever run a straight 5/10?

Plays about the same as 5/10. Min $500 max $2000. 5/10 is no longer spread. I think 10/10 is a better game structure.

Cheers. I appreciate the feedback. What makes you say 10/10 is a better structure (I've never played it)?

Only two chip denominations are in play, the $10 and the $100 (plus the occasional pumpkin or purple) so this makes betting and making change cleaner and faster as you can only bet in denominations of $10 anyways.

At a typical 5/10 the three chips are the $5, $25, and $100 chips. People with lots of $5's will have to color up more often and people who need reds will need to color down more often. This can pull people away from the table or just slow things down in general. Live poker is so slow anything done to make it faster is good.

Also, since most people are bad at poker, the extra $5 the SB has to post means you make more money in LP when you squeeze and steal pre-flop. Any time there is more dead money put up it benefits the players who can take advantage of it.

Only orange ten dollar chips and black 100 dollar chips play. Game runs a lot more smooth.

Hello Ari,

Can you have 50k freerolls every single month. The room is much more full and the action is way better when there is a freeroll promotion. I can't imagine a freeroll doesnt increase business more than the 50k it cost. One more thing, why doesnt the poker room have wifi? It's a horsetrack with advanced telecommunications for christ sake.

As pointed out in the Borgata thread, the Sands live update now includes waiting/interest list size. This would be nice info to have on the Parx site as well (the two columns can really be combined though, since it's always either one or the other depending on if the game is running).
