Also, I heard some folks mention that Razz either was or was about to be approved and offered at Parx. Any truth to this?

We have submitted for, but not yet received approval for, the following games:
Razz, 2-7 Triple Draw, Badugi, Badeuci, Badacey, and Razzdugi.

we better be able to get a $8-16 or $15-30 HORSE game once razz is approved. I'll play shorthanded to get it started if we have a couple more folks interested. I guess we probably have quite a bit of time before the approval happens...

I was headed to Borgata this weekend but because of the storm im gonna give Parx a look. Will 5/10 or higher be running? Are there any higher stakes mixed games? like 40/80 or 50/100

Hurricane is probably gonna put a damper on weekend plans... Wonder if parx is gonna run any promos to get butts in the seats or just shut down completely

If AC is evacuated, there will be many Borgata degens descending on Parx tomorrow. There will definitely be games.

Hey guys I am a Borgata reg and wondering how the 1k cap at 2/5 changes the game, if at all. Basically only concerned if the larger stakes changes the "normal" raises at 2/5. pre flop the average raise is between 20-30$, just curious how it plays at parx. As long as the game still "plays like a 2/5" im all about the bigger buy in I love deep stack poker.

the raises are usually around 20-40 and plays like borgata 2/5 but just deep stack poker of course so lots of good action and moves.

TD would be great. not just to play, to make more words for rotations such as:

SHOT, THOSE, TOES

PLayed in the 6/12 O/E game yesterday afternoon. Had a great time. Wish I could ride out the storm there. The 15/30 O/E game never went off. Looking forward to adding other games into the mix

I see that Parx has a 2/5 max buy-in of $1000. What would be the most common buy-in amount? My guess is $500.

My first trip to Parx may be this weekend. I need to escape Long Island. Unfortunately, Philly isn't exactly off the path of Irene.

$500-700 is average...I really don't see many 1k buyins.

Great action at Parx tonight. Seems like all the degens from AC moved over to Parx for the weekend. Got there around 8:00 tonight and there wasn't a single empty table in the high limit area. 75-150, 100-200, and 300-600 HOE all going at the same time. There was even a 30-60 LHE for the first time in a while.

According to the game report, there are 4 games of 2/5 right now. That is impressive.

Just got home. Management did an awful job tonight. The list was 44 players for $2/$5 and somehow I was playing at a shorthanded table most of the night. Other than that, there were a lot more fish than normal there tonight. Easy game to beat.

And the latest is that they probably will not remain open if Street Road is closed. Most were saying there's a good chance of that happening.

Wouldn't you want to play shorthanded with fish?

Not when half the money hopped off the table and it became nit fest until more players showed up. It was disappointing to play 5-handed and see players leaving broken games and clearly disregarding one of the floor manager's requests to come to our game. It was just frustrating and could have been handled better.

Last night was the busiest night at Parx since they opened. Hi limit room filled and they ran out of dealers. 10 2/5 tables and a 30+ wait list and god knows how many 1/2 tables. There are only so many floor people. The ones who were there were busting their ***. Could have used more floor and dealers but whatever.
