Ari, would you ever consider spreading a nl game w/antes in the room. like a 3/3 $1ante or 5/5 $2ante this would be a great game.

Game has been full last few weeks. Game was full all day today and must move started at abt 8pm. Game has been breaking between 12-2am but my guess it will start going longer.

The fact that the guy who wants the 500 max on the 2/5 also wants a bbj is pretty much all that needs to be said about that imo.

was at parx tonite and had a great time. first time ''playing'' in that particular room and i must say it was outstanding. i wont jump to any conclusions on the negatives being that i dont have a large sample size as far as rooms, nor do i have much time logged in this room. Long waits for a drink runner and bathroom ''smell'' i'll try not to re-hash because i hear that about most places. Overall- dealers were friendly and helpful with straddle explanantion, place seemed clean, chips were fine, and most importantly table was foaming at the mouth juicy. played 1/2NL for several hours with a small profit after getting sucked out twice. Oh, by the way, the spread was awesome. 50/100 H.O.S.E? can anyone comment on the room always having a nice spread? seemed like they had a bit of everything tonite. ty

My thoughts exactly. So he doesn't want players buying in for more than $500, but he's in favor of having the rake increased by 20% so that he can partake in a lottery. wtf? Its too bad that 2 + 2 can't have a separate forum for the fish.

Yes, the room has a good spread pretty much all the time. The only game not regularly spread is Stud. I think that's because they won't spread it 1-5, only 2-10 and there isn't enough interest for it. There was some talk about it in the thread awhile back. If you need a Stud fix, you'd have to get it in the 6/12 OE game.

BBJ absolutely best thing for this poker room. It will come just wait and seeeeeee!!!!!

Borgata has a half dozen poker rooms within a 10 minute drive offering BBJP.

Ari has stated he'll spread a stud (or stud h/l) game if there's interest. Unfortunately, there is none.

Ari has also stated that he does not want a no ante game, such as 1-5 or 2-10 spread. So, the only low limit option is 4/8.
IMHO, one of the stumbling blocks is the $1 ante for 4/8. No one will play a low limit game with a high ante.

Now, if anyone wanted to get an 8/16 stud or stud h/l game started, I'll be there ASAP !

We used to play 10/20/30/30 stud at the Sands with a $2 ante...what a great game that was.Terrific action. I'm sure Ari would be open to that.

Not a fan of the BBJ...but I would of LOVED if they had it this past tuesday when my Aces over queens got busted by quad queens...FML

Fix the 2/5 game? What do you mean fix it? It is fine how it is. That is only 200 BB and not that crazy. You don't have to buyin for $1000 if you do not want to. The only thing they need to do is make sure that these games are time and not rake per pot. Go to another casino if you don't like the 2/5 game there. $1k max buyin is good for the game.


The BBJ is horrible because now the casino would be able to use this money for promotions. 100k freeroll out of the BBJ money.

Me as well. I will be there. I usually play the 6/12 or plo but would love a 15-30 stud game. If we get it going I'm in.
