This happens at every tournament in the US afaik. It's to ensure the dealers get a tip. Because min cashers aren't expected to tip, the dealers had previously relied on final tablers to tip esp the winner. Because they often don't, there was too much variance in how dealers got paid in tourneys. This was to stabilize that afaik.

Do u mean a "cap" as in the buy in? Or a capped betting structure? 1-3 buy in is 200-500 and the 2-5 is 400-1k and the bets are not capped.

Great game that night. An older gentleman, that didn't know how he had to play 2 of the 4 hole cards dealt, was stuck over 4.2k and needling us by grabbing his crotch and saying how we had "no balls" and were scared to play with our "rent money". Good times.

I was in the 1-3 PLO game with BriMc until he left, which was painfully early IMO. With that said the game was still 6 or 7 handed when I left around 3 AM.

Loved the game, the table was super friendly and talkative, until BriMc left. Half the table was way more likely to gamble, while the other half was very nitty. Had a really good time and walked away a winner, for the first time in long time. What time should we try and get it started today?

I can't play tonight but I am very interested in 15/30 HOSE or 6 Game

BriMc tried to make it a Wednesday night thing but the 30/60 HOE game that starts earlier took away many of the players

Wanted to try and set up another regular night for that

If anything maybe a 5/5 that's 500-1500. But I think this is gonna take away from possible 5/10 games getting bigger. And having 5/10 get bigger and possibly a regular higher stake will be great for every level. Better players will filter up leaving lower games softer
