I see that there is a 2/5 limit table going ? Is that right ? How would the blind structure work with that ? increments of $2 pre and on the flop and increments of $5 on 4th and 5th street ?

Anyone ever play 2/5/limit before ?

It's not right, it is (or rather, was, since it's not up any more) just a clerical error.

2/5 mix game sounds enticing but i dont have the roll to play 2/5 PLO would consider hopping in the 1/2 game when it runs.

Flop J82r. UTG checks. I bet, btn calls, utg calls.

Turn Tc (putting 2 clubs) UTG checks. I bet 155. Btn goes all in for 271.

UTG asks if he calls the 271, will I be allowed to raise?

So basically the question is, what is a "legal" raise that would allow me to reopen the action? I was under the impression that if he raises more than 1/2 of my bet (in this case at least 232ish) then I would be allowed to reraise.

The floor, who's name I didn't get, said that it needs to be at least an actual minraise. (310)

I'm heading to Parx now, but if anyone could give me an official ruling, thatd be great.

Thanks

The ruling was solid.
The donkey was calling either way I think. You just don't raise and call a reraise pf with 6-3s oop and then fold with all that action. The guy was playing wide open. Button "screwed you" by somehow flatting AA in that spot

Just a few more days to qualify. Whats the under/over for number of qualifiers?

I just want to thank the poker players on behalf of the team for all of your loyal support.

Thank you

Ari

Heh, I was actually going to start a poll for this, but thought better of it.

I'm going with 450. About twice as high as I was originally guessing, because of some rumors about March playtime.

So I guess the whole room is going to be the tournament that day, at least in the morning? Hoping to be able to start a cash game early after I go busto.

Heh, that's qualifiers. I'll bet a third of them don't show up for the tourny, because of the time.

Plus, there are actually 61 tables iirc, so still some room for cash games.

Dinesh I think you are off by a bit, there are currently 211 that have qualified.

Haha, no fair revealing the actuals!

We still have a week (and two weekends) to go. I know that I won't be qualifying until this weekend sometime, I wonder how many others are in the same boat.

Anyway, since the current number is revealed, I heard at my table (so it must be true) that a friend of a friend of a friend is a floor, and said that 300+ played 60+ hours in March with no freeroll to egg them on. Hence my guess.

Amazing what $75 ev or about $1.20 an hour can get from poker players.

Also while there is incentive, Parx hours are a lot harder to accumulate than AC hours because you have to play every minute, they pause your time accrual if you go take a leak. In ac you can leave and come back in 5 hours to swipe out

Amazing ride into first row of parking lot! Got confused. Had become pretty solid on navigating the craters, and was thrown off when I couldn't see the center of the earth from my driver's seat. Great job. Now let's get some candy bars at the circle bar, and all will be right in the world.

I dont think it has come up yet Ari, but you arent actually planning to play the freeroll tourney in the poker room are you ? I pictured you have it in some sort of other room like they do in AC when the circuit comes to town.

Are your plans to have it in the poker room ? just curious what space would be left for cash games if you did....
