First of all, bite your fingers for that first card! Secondly, TPo4 only plays in hold'em.

I only get up and smoke when Im OTB. And am back before I'm BB. Now i can't do that and Im at the mercy of someone who may be gone for 30 min or more? I only get up to smoke, pee, get chips, I don't think if your in a game you should be gone for more than 10min if there is a waiting list. If i need to eat or go for a stroll i pick myself up. I thinks it poor ediquette to leave for an extended period of time. just my opinion and the way i roll.

Thinking of coming over this afternoon. How is the waiting list situation after the expansion. How long was the 1-2nl list yesterday?

Just survived my 4 hours of work after my all nighter plo session. Now off to the company christmas party for some beers and some sleep later hopefully. Have a nice holiday everyone! Be safe!

Curious about this too, Im hoping that more tables will put an end to 100+ on the waiting list for 1/2 on Fri and Sat nights...

I was there last night. They had 32 total games going, like 17 or 18 1-2nlh games. ~15 people on list. I waited like 6 minutes tops.

Just called Parx Poker room. The lady told me there is currently NO waiting list for 1-2 nl. There are still 7 tables waiting to be open if more players come.

i agree dont teach people they should play there button and for those who dont know you should play ur button a lot

Ahh I loved the room last night and had a decent (albeit runbad) playing session until like the last 3-4 hours I was there in which I played the worst poker of my life. Lol that 15-30 game turned into a straight ****ing gambling game. I may as well have played roulette! Although since everyone else was just gamb0000ling the whole time too, it was likely just neutral EV at best and marginally -EV at worst. Oh well.

Will have some more thoughts on the room later, but my terribad session certainly wasn't Ari's fault :-P. Overall a good experience.

Was the 15-30 game the one in the back near the 5-10? If so I may have seen you there Karak; I was playing in the 5-10 from about 2:00 to 4:30 AM.

It was my first time at Parx and overall I liked the room a lot. One issue I did have when I first moved over to the 5-10:

I sat down, and the BB was 2 or 3 seats to my right. The dealer asks if I would like to play or wait. I choose to wait. The very next hand a new dealer sits down and requests everyone pay time. I figured that since I hadn't actually played a hand and wasn't posting this hand, then I shouldn't have to pay time, right? The dealer said he wasn't sure and called the floor. Floor told me I did have to pay time. Is this standard? I'm somewhat new to this whole "live poker in a legit casino" thing, and I've never been in or seen this situation before.

I probably could have just picked my chips up and stood there until the very next hand and sat back down to save myself the $6, but I didn't feel like being "that guy", holding up the game and pissing people off, etc.

Yea it was. I was the only person in the game under 55, hahaha. Were you at the 5-10 table when they had that enormous pot? I couldn't count the chips myself cause I was so damn tired, but one guy told me it was at least 7k and looked to be possibly 10k. And no one had the nuts, lol.

but yeah man that 15-30 game is soft, however I couldn't have possibly played worse last night. Easily one of the worst (personally playing wise) live sessions of my entire life. I think some of the grumpy angry hateful old people in the game really got to me after a while and that combined with running bad and sleep deprivation just sent me on stone cold life tilt.

yeah I was there for that, the pot was a little over $7k I think. It was 3rd nut flush vs. 4th nut flush. You'd think after 4 bets the guy with the 4th nut might suspect he isn't good anymore but evidently that was not the case. lol live poker.
