I was there yesterday evening and they had the walls removed and the room was all opened up. It is very large now and visually appealing. There are also more tournament tables in the back as there have been 4-5 to the left of the bar.

From my chat with a floorman, they are still hoping to start tournaments come Februaryish.

As well, according to him, they won't be any "Cheapo buy-in tournaments either. I mean, our lowest staked game is 4-8. We're not running no 2-4/3-6 junk in this place. We're gonna have some nice buy-ins when we get going."

At work right now, but was present to see the Preston and Steve show at the start for a little bit and play two hours of 1-2 NLHE. (I later saw some of the Parkettes in a side room rehearsing some choreography, which I missed.)

I was up and down. Though I started with $200 and left with $156 left. When I was behind, I won a $100+ pot with only a pair of 3's on the flop! I had a pair of 3's and a flush draw vs. villian's A-high flush draw. **whew**. Later I recovered a few bucks on the turn with top pair and a heart flush draw.

All-in-all, a fun morning. I'm hitting up the big B Friday morning, sticking to 1-2 NLHE. To peeps playing PLO, have fun tonight! Enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Lately the 15 seems to run daily from around 5-5:30pm to early morning.

I would certainly have to expect it to get going today amongst the hoopla of the expansion opening.

Possibility. I must ok it with the wife first. If I'm allowed I could get there by 830-9ish. If they go by the borgata tourney schedule that would be great.

A Sunday 11am with 25-30 minute levels would be well received. Maybe $10k starting and make it $130+20?

Can anyone confirm that tables are playing 9-handed? And, if so, are they enforcing the 3MW rule?

i went for first time last night. played 9 handed and they enforce it almost too strongly. 3rd man up HAS to take his chips with him... not even a 10 minute limit. so if 2 leave for a long time... and you have to pee... you're screwed. nice room though. and those waitresses... wow.

I was under the impression that you were allowed to take a <5min break for a bathroom (but not for a smoke) break, without getting picked up. But, if you were gone longer... SEAT OPEN.

Actually, now that I think about it... I like that the 3MW has to pick up.

Now we need to change the silly rule that gives players >30 minutes to go (eat, smoke, rest, whatever). At minute 31 - PICK THEM UP!!! Letting 2 players have >30 minutes and forcing the table to play 7 handed, where no one can take a bathroom break is not right.

If you want >30 minutes, go on the dinner list.

they aren't even letting five min bathroom breaks with 3mw? don't like that. Let at least a five min broom break. Nice room though I'm impressed

It's silly to force someone to take their chips off the table if they don't miss their blind. If they have already paid for a full round of blinds, it's no different than if they had folded without looking. I like the 3MW rule, but it should be that they get picked up immediately when they would otherwise get a missed blind button.

The problem with anything other than immediately picking up the 3MW, is that it's subject to non-uniform enforcement and potential abuse.

Very long day at work today, not sure if I'm gonna head down. I'll see how I feel when I leave.
