Haters gonna hate. Stick to your home game....you obviously have no clue what a well run poker room looks or runs like. When parx has 65 tables and tourneys it will be a top 5 room on the east coast easily.

Thanks
It will most likely happen in February or March. The team is working together to make a schedule that all players will enjoy.

Only good thing about it was the waitresses who were good looking. I think the Sands and Pocono Downs are run much better with way better dealers and floor staff. Does everybody that posts on this thread work at Parx?? Thats what it seems like. You might as well call this thread the "I work at Parx but I'm pretending to be a player thread". Next time im around philly Im going to keep driving to Delaware Park.

For the live feed and data purposes, if you are ever in a game and it doesn't show up on the live report. Check to see if your dealer is swiped in. That will prevent a game from showing up.

Top rooms on east coast would be 1)Borgata 2)Foxwoods 3) Mohegan 4)Taj Mahal 5)????

With AC poker numbers going down seemingly each month because of the poker rooms in PA and Delaware its almost impossible for Parx not to take the 5th spot. Just because you are a top 5 room on the east coast doesnt mean you are well run or have the best employees. Best example is Foxwoods and Taj. They are both crapholes with awfull management but yet if you ask people they would probably be in most peoples top 5 rooms on the east coast.

BTW, how long have you been working at Parx?
hmm.. i guess this how your day went.... walk to cage buy $100 in 5's...go to 1/2 NL table.... overplay AK...Go broke...get mad...parx poker sucks...damn tight aggro players...worst room ever!!! Im never coming back... damn mean dealers and floor!!!

Not really sure being a top 5 room on east coast is anything to write home about....

And how will that room look with 65 tables with 12 in action...if the borgata is only getting more then 20 during the week where is parx getting all these games from ?!?!,

Thank you Ari. That feels like a long time to wait but I'd rather you guys get it right the first time, which I'm sure you will.

Well, since Tuesday of last week (Nov. 30), the room has had between 18 and 23 tables spread during what I will call peak time (4pm-11pm) Mon.-Thurs.. I know this is a small sample, but the graph jinyk was kind enough to set up (awesome and ty btw jinyk ) hasn't been in operation for long. For a room that has only been running for a few days more than a month, I'd have to say it's pretty impressive.

Where is Parx getting all these games from? Simple answer would be....from the people who obviously are showing their interest to play there.

Having said that, I look forward to seeing the room at 65 tables. I believe your prediction of only 12 tables running when we hit 65 is delusional to say the least. With the table games coming dec. 22 downstairs we are going to have trouble finding empty tables imo. This room is strong now and will be for years to come. Top 5? Nah....top 2....#1 more than likely in the not-so-distant future.

Vinceblahblahblah,

I do not work at Parx and assure you the only cat that posts to this thread that does is Ari. The room is solid. If you have been reading this thread you would see that there has been issues (all understandable). Many of these issues have been addressed promptly and satisfactorily by members of the staff that you consider to be rude. If that's an example of being rude , I have no idea what planet your from. There's not one rude floor person at Parx imo.

By the way , speaking of employment at Parx. Got any jobs open Ari? I'm not proud, I'm available until April.

I like Grape cool-aid.

It was pleasure playing PLO with all yous, Pippen, ACDawg and BriMc last night. Solid players last night, except the one gray shirt one at seat 10 who seemed like he was playing Hold'em.

Though I better keep away from Parx in the mean time. With how the cards have been playing out, I've busted out five consecutive sessions over there since the grand opening.

For now, I'll go back to my Jersey place for cards.

Just to confirm BriMc was not there last night. I was the donk in seat 9.
PLO game was def alot of fun though last night even though I was "slighty" tilted most of the night. HAHA.

Sorry, I kindly take it back. I think I had my seats mixed-up. I'm seat 7 in this case. And the guy in the gray shirt is seat 1.

I know it's the morning. I think I have a headache...LOL!

Vince,

Like Grim, I have a problem with feeding the trolls, however, I'll give you some slack here, if you can honestly think about why what you said was without merit.

Have you read the posts in this thread, specifically those posts discussing potential issues and the steps that management took to address them?

Other than at the Borgata and the Venetian, what other poker room has represented the player's interests, by having their management ask, listen and implement player suggestions?

Can you honestly say that other PA/DE poker room openings were better than Parx?

Can you honestly say that the dealers, floor and environment at other PA/DE poker rooms are better than Parx?

I've visited Harrah's and DP. They are ok rooms. However, they do not have anywhere near the potential to be as successful and player adopted as Parx. Their initial opening "quality of service" was, quite frankly... HORRIBLE. Has it improved since? Maybe. I don't know or care.

I don't honestly believe that the posters here are "hero-worshipping" Parx or the staff. I do not believe that Parx is overrated. If anything, Ari and co. deserve all the credit they earned - and then some.

Why?

Take a good look at the current state of poker and then you tell me.

Going forward, I would ask that you make a reasonable attempt at providing some rational basis for your concerns, rather than just painting with opinionated broad strokes, that are based on your disdain for other people's opinions.

Please don't feel compelled to reply.

Nope. I sat next to ACDawg, to his right. Black parx poker cap, blue hoodie and no glasses. The other Asian!

Hahah...not for awhile. I'm sort of superstitious of going to places where I have sustainable negative hourly rate. Come play with us at the Borg!
