Do mixed games run at all at ACF? If so, what sort of stakes we talking?

Was at ACF this WE. Think there was only NLHE & PLO. Several years ago I remember them having limit tables, but were they mixed, dunno.

Best bet is to call em.

For sure there is one 2/4 Dealer choice at Cadet and one at Clichy. I don't know at ACF.

I will be in Paris April 9th - April 11th. What would you recommend for cash games 2/4, 5/5 and 5/10 either Holdem No Limit or Omaha Pot Limit.

I heard that registration fee must be paid at casinos. What is this for ?

Hi Lazy,
There are only 3 Clubs in Paris where you can play poker. As I said in a previous post (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...&postcount=124), my favorite one is Cercle Cadet.

Since around 2 months, you can find Omaha table from 2/2 to 20/40 almost everyday. For NLHE, you'll find 2/2 and 2/4 tables from opening (2PM) until the club close (8AM). 5/5 tables opens around 9PM.

You heard good about teh registration fee. It's because Clubs are not really Casino and you need to be a member to be allowed to get in; At Cercle Cadet, the fee is 50€/year.

Hope this help.

Hi guys,

I'm having a trip to Paris in late Sept this year. I've done a bit of research and I might be popping by Cercle Clichy Montmatre, mainly due to the membership fees. Appreciate if you could enlighten me

1. Is there any poker room in Paris that doesn't require membership fees?
2. Any daily freezeout going on?
3. What are the blinds available?

Thanks for reading

1. All the poker rooms in Paris require membership fees by law. Cadet and Clichy Montmatre are the cheapest (50€ and 30€). ACF is 150€.

2. Yes.
Clichy : http://www.pokerccm.com/les-tournois.html
Cadet : http://www.cerclecadet.com/Tournois-...75009_a32.html

3. 1/2 2/4 NLHM and a 2/4 dealer choice at both places. At Cadet you will also have 5/10 NLHM and PLO tables running.

After having played hours at Clichy, I switched to cadet because they have more tables running each day.

have a nice trip and GL

Hi,

I'll be able to talk only about Cercle Cadet because it's the only room I still going in.

There is daily 2/2 (50€) PLO and 2/4 (100€) tables.

Often at night (11 or 12 PM), there is a 2/5 (250€) PLO table and sometimes a 500€.

Hope this helps.

Cadet seems to be where you'll find the most tables, both for tournaments and cash games. Their weekend tournies get quite a big field.

As always in France, players are below average skill wise but very annoying to be with at the table. They take it personally if you win a pot from them, blame the dealers for bad beats, etc.

At Cadet these weeks there has been a regular 6 card triple flop PLO game, (5/5 or 5/10, 6 max). Absolutely insane action.

I'm kind of confused what these stakes mean, for example does 2/5 (250€) mean the blinds are 2€/5€ and the buyin is 250€?

Thanks for the info!

That's the min buy-in, but CAP to 500 though

By law, 4% of tournament prize pools will be withheld for government taxes, and an additional fee of 6% is taken for tournaments with a buy-in above 400€, and 4% for tournaments less than 400€.
Cercle Cadet requires all players to be members of the Cercle. The annual membership costs €50

Going to FPS Paris 16th November . Bugdet Hotel or Hostel walking distance from Cercle Cadet ? Any tips ...
