Anyone know what the biggest game that routinely runs at Morongo is?

5/10 PLO/plo8

Action packed, especially considering the average age.

Are you confusing Morongo with Agua Caliente? I haven't seen anything that big at Morongo but know that Agua runs the 5-10 PLO regularly. Either way I like when I see this thread bumped because I play at both places a few times a month between dealing at San Manuel; nice to know that there are fellow 2+2ers in the area.

Yes, thank you for catching that. I always default to thinking questions in here are about AC.

I was going to point that out as well. I'm quite firmiliar w the games at AC, was asking about Morongo because it's not on Bravo and a little farther out of town.

Ive only seen up to 2/5 NL at Morongo and it doesn't run regularly. They recently added 1/2 so that and 1/3 NL are the regular games running along with the limit games. AC is such a gem of a room and my favorite place to play; wish I could play more often than I am already.

Anyone want to put me in the 1/2 for 50/50 split?

I've crushed Agua before. Originally from LV. I've played thousands if hours of live cash up to 2/5, occasionally 5/10.
Played online in rosarito for a year & final tables in live mtts @ the Bike. Had two small cashes in the Colossus 21k ppl $565 wsop, & Goliath Planet Hollywood $600 3k+ ppl.
Stats & references upon request.

Recently unemployed from commission sales job. Looking to play as much as possible & establish trust with long term relationship with a backer/mentor.

I live in Palm Desert, 10 minutes away from Agua. I know I can make someone & myself some good money.

So AC has $50 splash pots on every table every time there's a TD scored on MNF. The amount of action it creates in my 1-3 is crazy. If I lived here I'd be here every Monday night no doubt

Also the 5-10 PLO/plo8 confirmed juicy juice. If I were an LA pro I'd make the drive over anytime

So were you playing tonight? I almost went there tonight but Morongo is closer and now I regret it. That MNF promo sounds juicy. Always hate second guessing my stop for poker but I'm being results oriented.

I'll probably check that out next week or the week after.

I was there tonight. I like the 1-3 game at Morongo better overall(hate how they use $2 chips at AC), but the promo is great and does wonders for the action.

I've been playing at Agua in the mornings sometimes. The 1/3 plays small but they splash the pot for $40 every half hour until 10:45

I went to Tortoise Rock in 29 Palms yesterday. They have a high hand promo on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6-10. Whoever has the highest hand over that period gets $600. They only spread 1/3 and typically only get games going Wednesday-Saturday evenings. They don't have shufflers and the games are very slow.

In other news, the Agua poker room is going to be remodeled and is being moved to a tent in the parking lot for a year while renovations take place.

In their defense, they are a small, out of the way casino and it's nice that they have poker at all. No reason to go there unless you are already nearby though.

The latest news at Agua is that the poker room is going to be turned in to horse race betting and a possible sports book. The poker room will be moved to a temporary place somewhere in the casino. They are going to renovate the hotel which will take three years. The poker room will eventually be moved to the hotel away from the rest of the casino.
