Yes, we will continue to make people post $2 on the button in 1/2nl so that we can take our $2 min. rake on blind steals that get no flop. Thanks for playing.

Due to the high concentration of northeasterners that play at PBKC, do you anticipate getting any mid-limit stud or O.E. mix going like they do at Foxwoods. I wouldn't expect it at Ft. Pierce and Melbourne, but I figured it would stand a better chance of being a regular game at PBKC.

Thanks!

Any hope at all that we will see any non-holdem game?

What management really wants to say but can't for obvious reasons. Unfortunately we are keeping the $2 button blind because the owners of the PBKC are greedy _____(Fill in with whatever you want) and the thought of possibly missing out of a couple dollars is unheard of.

I wonder how many people they lose to competitors due to this policy. While I don't play everyday, I do play regularly, and they will never see any of my action.

Poker Dude,

Please feel free to discuss this item in person. I think it is a bit unfair to lash out on me or the company because of a $2 button blind. I have had positive feedback on the button blind from players who like action games.

I appreciate your suggestion, and look forward to discussing this further, if you like.

Take care,

Noah

Did the 10/20 O8 ever get off the ground? How long did it last?

If you take $2 rake on a no flop pot, you are raping the players, plain and simple. You may have had positive feedback about the button blind, but you will get zero positive feedback about taking a drop when there is no flop. The rake is already plenty high without raking pots that have no flop.

The O/8 game did not go. It was close, but no cigar.

It should go over the weekend.

The 20-40 Limit Hold'em did go, however.

Take care.

Noah, There's been a lot of talk today that PBKC will be opening another room at 441 and Palmetto Pk Rd. in West Boca Raton. Can you comment on this?

Tiresman,

There will be a second room.

However, the location is still being worked out.

I will be sure to post the second the property is purchased!!

Hi gang, just wanted to report that there has a mostly smooth transition to the new limits thusfar and the games are moving along quite nicely. We have had some great positive feedback, as well as a few points we were able to use to make adjustments after the first 2 nights. Thank you for that.

I have seen some in the range of 10k over the weekend.

Our 5-10 500 to 2500 has been playing rather deep.

Take care.

We have several 1/2 and 2/5 tables going now and a few 5/10's as well for no limit. Also, a few $2 and 2-4, and a 4-8 limit games.

The holiday is claiming some players, but we're getting players in for the tournament tonight and expect folks to come by after the bbq's and festivities are over. We're playing until 3am tonight...

We had the $1 ante 1-3 spread limit game we had before the limits went up two days ago. There have been players interested in playing, just not enough at the same time to start a bigger game yet. Stay tuned though... we're talking to players, and they're talking to each other in order to figure out when we might be able to get everybody here at the same time.

Noah, I think you do a good job, and I think Joe does a GREAT job with the tournaments, but the button blind makes the 1/2 NL a statistical nightmare, and anyone who knows anything about poker knows that that is true. I played 1/2 when I first moved to PB (from the biloxi/new orleans area) and I have NEVER heard anyone say they liked the button blind, and to pretend it's there to do anything, but generate money for the house is disingenuous at best. I mean, if you can get players to pay it, more power to you, but I'm just sayin' the other rooms seem to get by just fine without it.

Thank you for your input.

We have heard alot of the same response. We are looking at changing it,
but when, I do not know as of yet.

Thanks,
