2+2 members,
Please let me start by saying that I appologize for not being able to post updates and responses in a timely manner. This, as we all know, have been extremely busy. The volume
of players has been extrodinary to say the least.
With that being said, i have been following the forums and have been rather disappointed in the level of discontent this event has gotten to this point. Everything from the cluster that formed on day 1-C, to the complaints about the comps, to the change of time for the restart. I have read each and every one and have digested the negative feedback.
I would hope at some point that everyone sees the magnitude of this event and the difficulty it takes to handle volume that the facility and the WSOP was not expecting. I will never make an excuse for any of the shortcoming that were brought to my attention. PBKC is just asking for a bit of understanding and an opportunity to improve moving forward.
The decision has already been made to increase the number of tables for next years event. We will be fully prepared with enough tables to handle what the masses will throw at us.
Additionally, the rest of this week and the ring events will be pulled off without any further hiccups.
I respect this forum and the members. I will not bury my head in regards to any of your complaints.
Moving forward for the next week if anyone has an issue, please try and get to me directly.
Ask for me by name at the facility, contact me on twitter @pokernoahc or email me at
noahc@pbkennelclub.com. I check my mail approx. every 15 minutes during these events.
I will respond to each and every one.
Once again, I hope for a bit of understanding in this situation. However, each and every concern needs to be evaluated and addressed.
Take care and good luck during the rest of the weeks events.
