True. I guess the better complaint is that sooooo many players buy in for the minimum. I left two nights ago because I was the only player over $250. After walking the room, I saw that no other 2/5 table was that much deeper.

Played at the Isle for the first time yesterday. It was only one visit, but the tables were undoubtedly deeper. I saw only a few players at two tables buy in for $200.

All well.

Edit: It would be nice if PBKC had something like a $400-$1000 2/5 game or even a $1000 capped 5/10 game.

Noah, your thoughts?

Just kidding, Noah. I know you only read this thread now.

Has anyone noticed this new lowlife that has been showing up lately. He usually plays on table 18. He wears the exact same clothes EVERY day. Black pants, black shirt, black jacket and a black hat. I don't think he washes them either because the guy smells really bad. He is an angle shooter too, so what out for him. Just a heads up.

Think I know who you're talking about. Looks like a motorcycle jacket? Haven't played against him at 2/5 or 5/10 but have seen him there almost daily.

What are his angles?

Looking to relocate to West Palm from N.Y. I hear mixed reviews about WPKC . Was wondering if anyone can help with my decision making about where to move in florida to play poker ? I have a family and heard that the West palm area has good schools for my child and thats why i was considering it. As far as poker im not so sure. Im coming down to visit in Feb for a week to investigate and search for condos/homes and see for myself but was wondering if anyone has some sound info about the demographics. Thanks , Sean

Yeah, the pants are almost like workout pants or something too. He has an deep accent also.

Um, well, one hand at showdown he purposely misrepresented what his hand was. He said, "I've got an Ace", so then the other guy threw his hand in the muck, then he flipped his hand over and he didn't have an Ace. They called the floor over and split the pot with the other guy.

Guy is really shady.

The floor decided to split the pot? I hope it was truly a chop or that his hand was actually good because, otherwise, that was a bad ruling that rewards angles.

Yeah, I actually talked to some other players and they were shocked. They said he should have had to forfeit the entire pot for shooting that angle.

You can locate halfway between PBKC and the Isle at Pompano - Boynton Beach area. Puts Hollywood Hard Rock in reach, too.

the 5-10 game plays pretty huge in the pit. way more quarters in play then nickels. Watched 50 or so hands yesterday and the play seemed pretty horrible. Seems like a bunch of guys with a lot of money, not really poker players.

saw a guy check JJ down to the river with one over on board (Q) only to let every draw on earth get there. Of course there was three to a flush on board and four to a straight by the river and only then does the guy fire a pot sized $200 bet in. gets re-raisd to $500 and folds.

Yeah, most of those guys really aren't poker players, they just like to gamble. The worst player by far is that Indian Doctor guy, he is horrible.

Noah, status on comps?

It's really annoying that I have to drive 30mins to get to a room that doesn't rake preflop, lets you straddle button at 1/2, free water, and actually has player comps. Creek has a cleaner and nicer room even, and they STILL give back WAY MORE. PBKC offers nothing.

I put in roughly 25hrs a week at PBKC, but this last week I have made a trip to the games in the fort lauderdale area, where they give more back to the players.

I really hate spending an hour driving round trip, but the extra $12 I spend on gas, I save playing at these places. Please do something for the players Noah. People are starting to openly complain at the tables.

Edit: Additionally, I have another suggestion. You say the 1/2 button blind "promotes action", well if you really want to promote action, you should allow people to buy in for $300. All the other casinos around do $300 max, and it is a worldwide standard for 1/2 for the most part. With people coming into town for the WSOP in a few weeks, it's something you guys should consider changing.

Absolutely disgusting that you would call out and berate a donk on an online message board. Not everybody is the best in the world at poker, like you probably think you are. Get over it. Some people, especially people with money, play just for the fun of it. But the fun kinda gets taken out of the game when you have some punk internet douche bag, such as yourself, berating you for no reason. If you're going to insult somebody, at least have the balls to do it to their face. People like you are so bad for the game, and your berating of bad players shows your own obvious insecurities. I'm sure the Indian doctor guy has way more money than you, and probably doesn't spend his free time calling people out on internet message boards. Sick life. Disgraceful that the mods let these type of posts stand.

The poker community would be better off without you

I shouldnt have to wait for the stupid WSOP for free water. This place is a monopoly and doesn't care about it's customers.

Be happy you only have to spend 1 hour round trip, we have to go 3 hours round trip to get to a river boat.
