Hello all. I just flew into Palm Beach, my first time here. I passed the PBKC on the way to my hotel, and upon googling it, found this thread. Quick question for those of you who have been.

It does not appear that it is in the best section of town. Is this a place that is frequented by "riff raff" as someone mentioned earlier? I would like to check it out and maybe play some poker, but obviously don't want to go somewhere that is not a great place to be, if you know what I mean. I'm in town on business and don't need to find any trouble while I'm here.

The PBKC is a great place to play poker, period. Now with the WSOP circuit events in their second week, the action has been super!

I never had a problem and they do have security all over......you can also be escorted to your car if you have a large cashout.....

I like the game we are having actually....5/10 1k min buy in 5k max, mississippi straddle (from anywhwere), no flop no drop,call-in reservation, a set time the game goes off daily, a "walk away" rule, and a reinforced effort on Noah's part to make the guidelines stick, no confusion, and lots of communication......He is committed to making everything work, and the players are anxious to have our game the way we want, with proper guidelines, and very little room for stress and arguments any longer.

I believe we have the ingredients to make the PBKC THE place to play.....even if I do fly off the handle every so often.....which has now been set aside.

We usually have a full table, and overflow goes to a feeder table if it is not that crowded, and all of us want this to work out for everyones benefit.

Heads up to me, is not appealing to on most days, but your'e welcome to come to the pit, table 11, and play!

Played cash there for the first time today...I was pretty surprised to find out that in the 2/5 game not only are you not allowed to chop, but if it folds around to the bb, they just rake the $2...curious what the justification is for this? Also, not every dealer followed this rule, I actually heard 3 different opinions from dealers on what actually happens, but the floor said that was the rule.
