Some of the high limit players do not like spectators. We listen to their concerns and make the adjustments when need be.
2) All of a sudden there is no flop no drop in the high stakes area, after 6 months of complaining.....could it be that they don't want to give the wrong impression to the WSOP people coming in now????? wonder if THAT rule will stick, it hasnt in the past and managers give mixed signals to players and dealers all day, all night, all the time, about the rake rules (worst in the area).
This rule will stick. The players have asked and the adjustment was made.
3) Noah keeps saying how the high stakes area is "for the players who are putting up the thousands to play, and they are player friendly".......Nonesense, they are PBKC friendly and the rules change from minute to minute......first, if all the players at the table want to play 10 handed, then fine we do it.....then some pee-on manager makes a rule that "NOPE" can't, not allowed.......the pee-on knows how to put on shoes maybe, but thats about it.....running a poker room is so far out of his league he should go back to McDonalds.
We play 9 handed at PBKC. We did not go to ten today because there was a list for a second game of 5 deep. This decision was in the best interest of the players.
4) Now they have changed "call in" rules......the high stakes players could call in at 9am and reserve a spot at the main table, overflow would go to a feeder table to keep the main table filled.......good deal, player friendly.....right? Well, now its no longer being accepted unless Willie sets it up, and he is not there all the time, so how will that work? It won't, and the regulars just won't sit around and wait when there are other options, and will be more in the future. Maybe after the luster of the WSOP wears off, they will change back, maybe not.
The call in reservations were abused. We have changed this so players who show up can play without waiting for a call in to show at a later time.5) Nobody tells anyone anything regarding what the rules of the moment are, so naturally arguments ensue, and players get pissed off, as do the managers, who don't have a clue to the rules to begin with.
Obviously, today i had had it, when a pee-on manager made a dumb ass rule about 10 people at the table when everyone at the table agreed it was ok with us....he wouldnt change his mind, and i went full tilt.....player friendly????????? The pee-on manager arbitrarily made a rule that caused friction in the game......ya think the regulars want to play there much longer?????? PBKC is biting the hands that feed them, and will wind up lesser of a poker room than before.
Today they "asked me to leave"....I obliged and will consider going back when it suits me, not them......I will close my safety deposit box, use a "friendly" bank, and play where the playing suits me.....i have the luxury of being in between the Isles and the PBKC......maybe I will just use the KC for the good tournies, and bring the real money elsewhere, unless I see some fish swimming around, then maybe I will toss them some business, but the 30k (Rake, Parking, Food) a year I toss them a year is OVER......too bad also, I like Joe the tournament director, he's a good guy and knows what to do.
Will they care, probably not.....but this is a critical week for them......and the action has been sparse......Commerce, they aint!
Sorry to cause a rucus today (which i told Josh), but they brought it on themselves, as usual.

PS: 2 weeks ago they told me to remove the racks from the table......the others players aside from one, didnt give a crap, and the dealer (whos call it is) said it didnt interfere with anything......Did I remove the racks? Yep, with my chips, and me, and boy did that piss off the other players who wanted a shot at getting some money back.....sorry, blame on that pee-on manager (same one BTW) who overode his dealer.
