I don't consider a free bottle of water customer service, I will however give you two examples of what I consider great customer service by both Noah and Joe:
First time ever at the track, myself and pyramid scam got a text that there was a 10/25 nlh/PLO game. So we leave a nearby room and head to pkbc. Walk in and find out that the game just broke
. Find Noah to introduce since he always says to stop by and say hi (at this point that was all I knew he would do). Immediately he offers to buy us dinner and drinks. We were going to head back to the other game but after seeing how gracious he was we decided to stay and play 5/10.
Second time at the track, I go down to play in the $550 tourney at the end of the month. Deciding whether or not to get a hotel or not I posted on here "what time does that tournament run until?" Almost immediately Joe responds back with all the info I needed. I played in the tournament and as we started getting deeper in the money a couple of us noticed that 4th place would have to file the tax form by about $100. We asked Joe to re-evaluate the payout structure so only the top 3 would have to file. Done. No questions asked, no trouble. He understood that withholding tax for fourth place would have been terrible.
While you may consider cheaper items to be good customer service, I must disagree. It is the personal touches (not to mention great games) that will
make drive 3 hours to go play.
If you are so concerned about paying for water and parking you have three options: stay home and play online, park farther away, or don't drink water. Or give me a shout next time you're there, and if I'm there I'll toss you a red bird get some water.
