Noah I just got a call from Willie he said he will get everything worked out for me and he will get back with me next week. Gosh I never had a casino this accommodating in trying to help a potential customer.

If I've said it once I've said it a million times, this is why they won the WSOP-C. Customer service is king.

Seeing as how the isle has banquet halls and other rooms to host the event, the table number shouldn't matter. Most places have the wsop stuff separate from the main room. Pkbc won it because their staff are always willing to go the extra mile.

I'm not arguing their staff does or doesn't go the xtra mile, but I am saying they got the WSOP because of their size. Are you aware of the cost for anyone to add more tables? It's $1000 per table plus what you have to spend for surveillance So it's questionable if anyone is willing to add that expense. Then include what you have to pay the WPT or WSOP to hold their event, it becomes very expensive
Peace out

The 1000 dollars a table is a tax to the state and i am not sure how that work on a 2 week ordeal. Surveilance is definitely an issue that would have to be addressed.

Not sure i agree about the customer service thing. While Noah is a good comunicator and always seems to got the extra mile, but things like stealing two dollars in a chop pot and charging 2$ for bottle water are not great customer service IMO. I am pretty sure this stuff is out of Noahs hands and he would change them if he could but for now i will continue to play at the Isle where i have never paid for food or water or anything that didnt have alchol in it.
No offense Noah. I know you are eager to please, but the are other places in south Florida that give me better value for my raked dollars.

pretty much all you have bitched about is the 2 sollar rake and the charge for bottle water.

I am sure if you talked to Noah personally, he would get you the water free. It would be on him tho, its not his department. As far as the rake, Noah is not one that is going to get into rake wars with other casinos, He would rather spend his time on improving your overall experience. I personally dont see to mwnay no flopped hands, so what you are complaing about could be just petty complaining.

I was referring to a chopped a pot. No action at all, the cards are dealt everyone folds and the blinds take there money back. And you are correct this does not happen all that often. All the more reason to end the practice, it would not cost the casino much money and "petty" complainers like me would not be able to post it on 2+2. As for the bottled water I dont want to find the poker room manager every time i want a bottel of water. I dont want him to pay for it either. I want the owner of the casino, the MULTI bILLIONIRE ROTH CHILDS, to acknowlegde the fact that i am paying 15$ + per hour to play poker there and asking me to pay 1500% mark up for a bottle of water is practicaly theft. In my mind that is customer service.

I have sympanthy for Noah, i am sure that he hates the fact that his customers are asked to pay 2$ for a bottle of water that cost them 15 cents and that his Billionaire boss really feels the need to nickle and dime the customers every time they turnaround(1$ to park 2$ for entry taking the small blind in a chop pot ect.)I think the Palm Beach Kennel Club could really be a great room. But i dont care how graciuos and considerate the guy that is robbing me at gunpoint is being, he is still robbing me!!!!

I am pretty sure that its not no where close to robbery as every person in the room shares the same expense that you do. There is no gun to your head and you do have a choice to go and play at another location where you wont get the same personal attention that you do at PBKC. If you feel that thats worth a bottle of water and the ability to chop on your nitty azs table then that is your choice. I would much rather pay the dollar to park then to park 650 yards away or wait 45 mins for valet to bring my car to me.

Its my hope that your slander doesnt turn people away from the Kennel club as your complaints are pretty petty.

I agree with PK on his points and have spoken about it many times. but as far as parking, its free and its not that far away to walk. If you feel the $1 is worth it to park a little closer then so be it.
And its $1 for entry not $2, which you probably get a free pass if your a regular Im guessing but Im not.

You dont have to be a reg, just get a players card and entry is free.

I don't consider a free bottle of water customer service, I will however give you two examples of what I consider great customer service by both Noah and Joe:

First time ever at the track, myself and pyramid scam got a text that there was a 10/25 nlh/PLO game. So we leave a nearby room and head to pkbc. Walk in and find out that the game just broke . Find Noah to introduce since he always says to stop by and say hi (at this point that was all I knew he would do). Immediately he offers to buy us dinner and drinks. We were going to head back to the other game but after seeing how gracious he was we decided to stay and play 5/10.

Second time at the track, I go down to play in the $550 tourney at the end of the month. Deciding whether or not to get a hotel or not I posted on here "what time does that tournament run until?" Almost immediately Joe responds back with all the info I needed. I played in the tournament and as we started getting deeper in the money a couple of us noticed that 4th place would have to file the tax form by about $100. We asked Joe to re-evaluate the payout structure so only the top 3 would have to file. Done. No questions asked, no trouble. He understood that withholding tax for fourth place would have been terrible.

While you may consider cheaper items to be good customer service, I must disagree. It is the personal touches (not to mention great games) that will
make drive 3 hours to go play.

If you are so concerned about paying for water and parking you have three options: stay home and play online, park farther away, or don't drink water. Or give me a shout next time you're there, and if I'm there I'll toss you a red bird get some water.

Option 4- Ill just donk it up at where the water is free and they practice NFND.
And you can keep your redbird or just giver it to the dealer.

its amazing how dumb people can be, they will pass up the softest games ever where their win rate can be 5x as much, just so they can get a f-in free bottle of water. GL down there and enjoy the water.

It ia amazing how juevenile other people can be. All I have done is state my opinion about customer service. And more then once expressed that was impressed with Noah and his comunacation. Yet i have been told to shut up been called names and been called dumb. Well if this sort of people who play there regular it's just one more reason to go elsewhere. Ill donate somewhere else!!

I cant speak for 33, but i was generalizing when I said dumb, cause others have stated your feelings too. And there arguement is all the same, nitty bottle water and dropping rake with no flop. (and parking). Point is, if you are a serious player and game selection is key for you and your win rate, then the above reasons are DUMB reasons for passing the Kennel.

Just to lighten it up, I will apologize if I offended you. In the future maybe you can run some samples and see which place is more profitable.

If you are strictly in it for entertainment purposes, then by all means, take the free water.

I'm right there with pk_nuts and have stated over and over how the rake with no flop and no free water tilts the hell out of me. I live 5 minutes from PBKC and 40+ from Isle, so when I occasionally play live its at the KC, but it still annoys me to no end.

Beware of this room !!!!!!!!! We were recently there for the Florida Millions Poker Tournament. First we noticed that in the 1-2 no limit game they not only had 1 & 2 dollar blinds but there was also an additional $2 bind on the button that went immediately to the rake. Should have know then we shouldn't play there. However that's not the worst of it. While playing in a live game I left the table to go check on my wife during a break in the Tournament. I was gone 22 minutes. When I returned they had removed my chips from the table where I was playing. Shocked I asked the Floor what was going on and was informed if you were gone from the table " 20 minutes " , they pick up your chips and you lose your seat. Now I have played poker all over the world and I have never heard of such. I asked him to show me where it said that in the posted house rules and he could not. It was not there. He said "that's just our rule " but could not tell me how I was suppose to know that if noone tells you and it's not posted. Very poorly run room with hidden rules. Beware if you every play in Florida and avoid this room at all costs. Much much nicer room at Pompano Beach 20-30 minutes down the road.

It is crazy that they charge for 2$ a bottle, NO where else do they do this, but if the action is that good, screw the water and get into the games. Oh you also tip on that bottle of water so its about 3$ to 4$

If you were the D-bag on 27 tonight then the people who play here at PBKC don't want you back. We've been playing the games we've got for a long time now, and the action can't be beat by any room in Florida. If you're not that D-bag, sorry. maybe.
