So 6 million is meh...... I guess I am stubborn but I am just guessing if chicago got around 1400 for this event PBK will get about 600 to 800, my whole point is that they will not see the same numbers as past tournies. But If I am wrong then I win.
Well, since at the current time PBKC has enough room to accommodate 550 players, that will be just fine as it expands and adds another location.....Chicago gets that many because it has a different venue, and quite frankly, is a NYC wanna be. Get over yourself, Florida will be the poker capital in 2-5 years pal. It has EVERYTHING.

Getting back would be exactly reverse as getting here.(google tri-rail and they have a schedule and give yourself plenty of time to get to your destinations) This alternative i gave you was just an absolute cheapest way you could get here from FLL. I think it would be worth it to get a car so you can do other things at your own wish.

I work tonight at 6 and then I am off till sunday. And I will prolly be upstairs dealing the Florida Million finals.

I am a bit surprised about the tone of some of the above posts. However people (including myself) are basically free to express opinions on here which in the overall scheme of things is a very positive thing. The WSOPC is now coming to South Florida and it has selected the PBKC for many reasons which they have mentioned in their press releases. At the very top of that list was location, professional staff and size. Whether we draw crowds like Chicago, Tunica, AC is yet to be determined but I am promising everyone reading this that the WSOP and the staff of the PBKC are working every day, extremely hard to make this first time ever event in the Sunshine State, one of the Crown Jewels of the WSOPC. We hope to make each and every one of you very proud and provide as seamless of an experience as possible. Next year instead of discussing how many players will be coming, I believe we will be talking about how soon it will be back. I hope we can spend more time on here discussing ways to make it even better than the others and less time with some of the unnecessary jabbing. I also want to thank many of you for your constructive comments and suggestions. I promise they do not fall on deaf ears.
Come say hi when your in PB, I would love to meet you.
All the best, Joe

I just saw the schedule. The first event will start on Thursday and they are doing something they did not do in Southern Indiana which will allow us to buy back in the next day, this will be BIG!!! so there is a very good chance that they could get a ton of entries. Thursday will be lower for ovb reasons, but Friday will have a ton of people, I'm regretting my words now lol

IP Casino 270 players for main event,'

Harveys Lake Tahoe 246 players.....

It should be EZ for PBKC to beat these numbers ... case in point WPT Hardrock $5000 main event not really even on their main page schedule 297 players.

Anyone know about handicap transportation from airport to hotel and hotel to casino? It wasn't available in Council Bluffs and Tahoe so I could not go.

Hey, Wondering if I know you, do you play Big PLO games, and have played at Southern Indiana? If They do not have transportation, I am flying into Florida and would be willing to help you out.

I wouldn't think it would be a problem, this is South Florida. More wheel chairs then any where else.
Good luck, call the airport I would have to think they can arrange a special cab for you.

I tried 3 cab companies and was directed to 4pronto and yellow both had wheelchair transportation but you had to give a 24 hour notice, ok for getting to airport to hotel and hotel to casino but sucks trying to get back to hotel. How do you schedual getting a time to get knocked out of a tourney? Most people have lifts on their vehicals as I do but it doesn't help when flying.

Long drive from Tunica I'd stay home before driving that far.

It is not the first city I've run into this same problem. But Noah said he would see what he could do. But you to agree having to give the cab company a 24 hour notice to get a handicap taxi is unrealistic.

If anything can be done, and I am sure there is, Noah will do it.

in my experience most say 24 hour notice only bc there's a limited # of w/c cabs. get the drivers cell #, find out what time he gets off work tip him well- u know the drill.

or you can rent your own http://www.accessiblevans.com/index....Fc9J2godW2YMpw

I will get this done if I have to rent a van and do it myself.

Book your trip!

Take care,
