There are 4 "Day 1" events @ PBKC, Sat 11/6, Sun 11/14, Sat 11/20, Sat 11/27, then the "Day 2" final event is Sat 12/11, here @ PBKC as well. There will be "Day 1" events at pari-mutuel poker rooms all over the State tho... plenty of chances to make "Day 2."

Is there a site with more information about the tournament?
I know the first one had a site dedicated to it. I went there and it still had the information from the first Florida Million up.

Hi Yankee, the Florida Million II site is currently being completed and should be up any time now. We have had to confirm all the schedules of each para mutual and wanted to make sure the site is complete and accurate.

How juicy have the 1/2 and especially the 2/5 games been since the max buy-in was raised? I'll be in the area at the beginning of November.

Also, what are the prices for various foods one can eat tableside? Thanks.

I personally think the games are really soft, there are alot of players at the 1/2 that have no business playing NL to begin with. You just have to be able to identify the players who are scared to lose money (those are easily bluffed) and those that just dont ever ever fold. The 2/5 is also good as i see to many players trying to make hero calls.

The food....I eat a lot of junk food so I like the pizza and chicken fingers, I have never heard anyone complain about the deli sandwhichs or the wraps. Depending on what time your there, the Terrace Cafe also has some good eats. I would say 10 dollars could cover any meal. (of course some are cheaper)

When you come in make sure to introduce your self to Noah, he is very easy to talk to and will listen to any suggestions you may have.

I played in the HORSE tournament last Thursday and I did better than last month (18 out of 67). Louie did a great job running the show and the dealers were much better. If the track wants a WSOP event and this year they are hosting the finals of the Florida Millions. They need to get new and better tournament chips. The ones they are using now are old and dirty!

They are getting new tournament chips for The Florida Million II. I spoke with Josh and he confirmed. He was super pumped about the tourney as well as some other possible upcoming events that may be in the pipeline.

Hi Ausales, thanks for coming out to the $5,000 guaranteed H.O.R.S.E this past Thursday.
We will be having another $5K H.O.R.S.E on Nov 18th at noon. Keeping the 3rd Thurs of each month dedicated for our H.O.R.S.E tournament players. Other events are being planned as well. As for the tournament chips? We are looking at several better quality tourney chips. I expect that you will like them a great deal more than the current style.

I played pbkc sometime last month and there was a promotion in which they drew table numbers and ran the cards out to determine the amount of money given to the player at the table. I searched the pbkc site as well as this formum and ante up magazine and cant find any promotions or bonus info for november, do you mind posting the calendar or promotions in this forum? thanks

Good Morning Luck, This months promotion is the one you are speaking of. It is the table draw promotion which happens 6 times per day and begins at 10am. This month the winning table will have 1 winning hand which will be awarded an entry into the Floriday Million ($550 value) and the remaining players at the table will all will $25.

I think if you win your ticket in the promotion it is a voucher and can be given/sold to anyone else for any of the upcoming dates. (not 100% sure on switching dates) but definitely can be given away. People sell them all the time.

have heard good things about the PBKC....I'm down here on vacation visiting family for 2 weeks (i grind in LV) but dont have a car....staying at lake worth road/fla turnpike, if anyone is in or near the area and going down saturday or sunday and would be able to give me a ride in exchange for free gas/lunch, drop me a PM...heard the games are good, I look forward to it
