I went took 9th, bought my ticket from some kid that didn't want to play so I got in for $80. It was good once the dealers figured out the games, they were all confused on the Razz, and studs, who brings it in and who acts first, but aside from that it was good, the rounds were 25 minutes and I think we started with 8000.

Noah, asked for you but you left before I made it down stairs, never seen you in the tournament room.

Why don't you hold that tournament more then once or twice a year? It seemed to have a good turn out and everyone enjoyed playing other games.

I'll defer to Joe on the upcoming tournament action, but I believe the change in the limits will change this year's tournament activity. I agree, it seems everyone really enjoys the event atmosphere. Thanks.

What is up with the A/C was there Thursday it was warmish but ok.

Yesterday it was well over 80 degrees in the tournament room difficult to be patient sweating like a pig. Players next to me complaining about waves of heat hitting them.......on break go down the hall everything ok......really was one of the worst poker experiences ever!

Noah,
I was at the Kennel Club yesterday and notice the TV screen that give you information, rules, bad beats, etc. Could you change the Omaha limits to: 4/8 with 1/2 kill. Thanks

Last weeks' tournaments were lots of fun and packed with energy.....it felt good to be part of the events, and also to see the great turn out!

Joe did a super job of managing the events, keeping everything running smoothly, as well as being decisive on the rulings he had to make.

If only he had control of the air conditioning!

Kudos to all, and keep having good, solid structure events!

My appologies for the air situation.

We are working tirelessly to improve this. Typically it has been warmer in this old building of ours during the summer months. However, with the increased amount of volume of games, the A/C has not been able to keep up.

A new unit will be installed before you know it!!

Take care,

Noah

If you knew it before it was installed, I'd say obv collusion.

Gambit, I think you will be pleased to know that I have arranged a H.O.R.S.E tournament to take place on the third Thursday of every month. Blinds will be 25 minutes and the starting chip stack will be 7000. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Thanks for your input. I enjoy reading your posts.

All the best, Joe

Noah,
What is up with your air? It is the worst condition I have ever played in. I have played in multiple rooms in ac, Vegas and California poker room are suppose to be freezing or cold at the lest. The temp in your room affects people and their play. I know this cause I spend about 4 days a week there cold 1 day freezing the next. I keep hearing it is getting fixed for about 6 years. The only thing you have going for you and this situation is your location if isles was less then 20 min away you would drop 70% of your players just from your air. When will the air be fixed?

No it's not. I am referring to the information TV near the dealer break room. It still states that the limit Omaha 8 game is 2-5, not 4-8 with a 1/2 Kill. Please change so we may get this game going again.

Good name for you, war33, first post and you come out swinging. BTW the isle couldn't handle the business, they can just about handle what they have now anyway.

your twitter acct says your 10/25 round of omaha, round of hold'em is a $5000 game, does that mean maximum or minimum?

I just made the requested change to the program. Hopefully we'll see some more interest. Thanks.

That is a $5000 minimum buy-in. We just opened the 2nd 5/10 $500-$2500 and many of those players are on the list for the 10/25.

I played my first ever session at pbkc tonight and I have to say it was great! I introduced myself to Noah and be insta bought me a red bull and put me on the 5/10 list. I really liked the high limit area. I play a lot at the tampa rock and the tables are crunched together and their is no high limit section.

The dealers were very professional and efficient. The action was great with 3 very deep 5/10 games runnin along with a list. They dedicate one brush to the area which made it very streamlined and kept the seats filled quickly.

What was also very nice was the number of police officers and security right near the games. The parking lot was well lit and they had a patrol working the area.

Looking forward I definitely see myself taking more trips to the room from the gulf coast. I was very pleased with the 500-2500 structure and the play was soft. I max bought and didn't see any shortstackers . Cashed out for 6570 in 4 hours of play.

maybe we could start a 2handed 5/10 or 10/20 game for fun?

I don't play heads up unless it is PLO. We can do that next time I'm over there.

Noah, now that you've been approved for another location can you tell us where it will be?

Also concerning getting a box at the cage, what type of identification is needed?
