Jackpot $100K and made easier to hit. Any aces full or better beat by quads or better to win as of this afternoon. It took my buddy 4 hours to get in a game.

yeah. i'm in town for business so i'm staying off the strip and right near the place. after dinner last night thought i'd check it out and noticed a 200+ list on Bravo. makes no sense. how many people are actually there waiting? 20?

they did have a notice yesterday that they were no longer accepting call-ins and in checking this morning they clearly went through and removed most people.

Taking a quick look at the Bravo app and at 10 a.m. local time in Vegas, the Orleans has more tables currently running then all the rooms combined on the strip!

Can you imagine that many people on the list for limit games and how it must smell in that place with all those people there for that many days trying to hit that bad beat jackpot!

Last night when I checked there were over 600 people on all the lists waiting, that's insane!

I'm sure some people had given up waiting, and a lot of people were double counted. I had my friend but me on all lists yesterday afternoon, and when I left at 10pm after playing for hours I was still somewhere on the 2/4 list.

Are you sure they are having a PLO tournament? Orleans is known for limit omaha/8 or better and I have played o8 tourneys there before.

Edit: Checked and you are right. I still wouldn't expect PLO cash.

It's $2 more in promo drop for the LHE and probably NL as well. I think just $1 promo for the O8, they probably have fewer promos.

I was actually asking in regards to the 8-16 O8 in particular. $4 total drop is completely reasonable for the promos that are advertised.

Weird coincidence that I opened this thread for the first time in months and am planning to play in that tourney tomorrow. I heard its a pretty good turnout, sorry I know that is not very specific.

There were 63 players and I always enjoy getting to play HORSE. You get a ton of chips 12,500 so of course the blinds have to climb steeply to still be a relatively short tourney. So huge stack all tourney does not matter once you get close to the bubble.

Note. Orleans now has a $5 dealer add-on for all tournaments.

PLO isn't even listed as a game they will spread and I almost never see it on Bravo.

Instead of regularly, does PLO ever run at the Orleans???
