Orange City (Fl) Racing and Card Club - Venues & Communities -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

I have seen a few posts referencing the new room opening just north of Orlando. The facility is 2-3 minutes off I-4 and is operated by the Daytona Kennel Club group. I thought I just would post a link to their Facebook page. There is additional info on the DKC website.

I drove by the suggested location and it doesn't even look like anything is being done on the outside anyways. I didn't go up and try to look in any windows. It's a rather run down shopping plaza. Their room will be in the corner where a movie theater used to be and Kmart left that plaza also.......

it's an old movie theater being converted to poker room. it's not in the best area of town, but supposed to be beautiful when done

Standard permit issues that all businesses are unfortunately forced to deal with. If you don't have connections in the right places you can see delays of up to a year in some cases. I've seen a business forced to tear down an entire wall to move an emergency exit 3 feet to the other side of a pole.

Their Grand Opening is next Wednesday, March 1st.

It is 20 miles closer to downtown Orlando than the Daytona room. Hopefully, they will have decent cash game action. I'll probably try to head over there next Friday.

Thought there'd be more activity in this thread now that they're open ... I couldn't even find the thread when I swore I had seen it before the room opened!

Any trip reports? Hoping to check it out at some point
