2/5 NL Game this Saturday. We're shooting for 6pm, because more dealers arrive at 6:30pm. Same time would be good for Fridays too, until they complete the dealer training that began today.

How long do you figure until the 2/5 game runs regularly with 4-5 tables? I'm picturing something similar to Rama. 5-6 months?

Doesn't seem out of the question with all the tables of limit running. Maybe I'm wrong and they're stuck in their ways.

They just need enough staff to open all 14 tables when busy. The first training session should be completed this week. I think as time goes on some of the small limit games will die. Like 3/6 & 6/12. The $7 rake alone should kill the 3/6 limit game. This was the last limit hold'em room in Ontario, so many still do prefer limit. But no limit has taken of well, and last Saturday they had four 1/3 NL games going, and the 1/3 is often the last game running each night during the week.

Brantford Poker Room, we're going to have a 2/5 NL game this evening. They have the most dealers available at 6:30pm so everyone should come by then. If you guys want to start earlier, let me know. I'll be there by 3pm. Game is 500max. Last Friday our game lasted 9 hours.

We had a great 2/5 Game last night. We should have another tonight for 9pm, and will be starting one tomorrow, and Sunday as well. Bravo will be up and running soon too. They are also training more Poker dealers. Things are looking good.

7+1 Limit games up to 20/40 or 30/60. 8+1 NL games 1/3 to 10/20.

Wow. 8 and 9 dollars. Insane

Called in yesterday for me and a friend. Before I could even say my friend's name he goes "oh boy, hold on" as if I am about to drop 10 names. He puts me on hold for 5 minutes and then comes back on. I tell him my friend's name and ask if they're busy. He replies with "what do you think pal? I just put you on hold for 5 minutes." Ok sorry for asking.

Get there and check in. Wait for 2 hours and get hungry and I can see my name is 9 from the top. I figure there's enough time to run to Wendy's across the street for a quick bite. I get back 15 minutes later and my name is not on the list anymore. I talk to the same guy I talked to on the phone and he goes "I was calling your name for 10 minutes, are you deaf or something?" I explain that I had been there for 2 hours and just went to get food quickly. He tells me there is nothing he can do but I can join the list that is 25 people long. This was obviously super tilting and a waste of a night.

This floor man was very unprofessional with his remarks and the way he runs the poker room. As if his job is so difficult and stressful that he can't fill that poker room with ease when the lists are that long. Then he goes and takes it out on the customers. I really wanted to tell him to go F himself. Obviously I couldn't for fear of getting banned. Tilted over this situation and how many hoops you have to jump through as a poker player these days.

That's ridiculous! <removed> They are supposed to be training more dealers for Poker. They will also be up on Bravo sometime in November. I think weekend are always going to be insanely busy even with all 14 tables going. They need to chop one of the lower stakes limit games to make room for more NL games. When I called last night they had one 2/5NL, and three 1/3NLs with 50 on both lists waiting. They typically have not had more than 12 tables of the 14 open due to dealer shortage, so that's 4 NL to 8 limit games. That has to change soon.

How do people email manager with complaints if they don't know name? Some of those people are terrible. Don't have the personality to work in scrap yard. They would offend the guard dogs.

I am going to be in the GTA the next couple of weekends. Any idea about the likelihood of there being a 20/40 FLH (or larger) on the Sunday nights? I will for sure call in before making the trek, just wondering how the activity has been the last while as I haven't been there since pre-WSOP. Thanks in advance.

It seems that Brantford has more poker dealers now than a few months ago when the waits were ridiculous. I have seen as many as 12 of their 14 tables going on Bravo. One 2/5NL seems to always be going Thursday-Sundays. Someone other days as well.

At the moment Brantford has all 14 tables going including two 2/5 NL, four 1/3 NL, and two 20/40 Limit games.

They ever gonna run anything bigger than 2/5 there? Played a session there a few days ago was nice to see a few room improvements.

One thing I'm going to say is there's some menial activities going on that slow the pace of the game. One which is:

-Seat change rule: Why is there this whole musical chairs game going on every time a seat becomes open? When a seat becomes open a player should be able to claim it on a first come first serve basis. At one point a seat became open and 3-4 players all wanted it, the dealer performed a high card showdown, then when those players moved other players wanted to move.

-Limit players: Guys coming in to sit @ 2/5 with racks of whites and betting with them. Maybe doesn't slow the game too much but just tilts me for some reason lol.
