Here now, they have 4-8, 10-20, 20-40 limit and 1-3, 2-5 NL. Rake for NL games are 10% up to $15, seems like the standard for OLG at this point unfortunately.

My understanding is this greed does not extend to Niagara Falls. I've heard they're looking to try and hold the line on rake, or a small increase.

The weird thing is this rake will kill the game, it's like they're creating a self fulfilling prophecy. Rama with their high rake was on life support prior to Covid, at this insane level I don't see poker continuing anywhere. Maybe there'll be 2-3 tables at each place, but that's about it. It's be solely the weekend gamblers who don't consider rake.

Even *if* one considers this rake beatable at 2/5, it's clearly not beatable at 1/2 and 1/3, so there'll be no new regs in the game, games will dry up.

God that's so depressing. I was looking forward to playing there once COVID was over but that's horrid rake.

Also the poker rooms opening now is a joke, we're basically entering the worst part of the pandemic.

Casino Niagara will retain a session fee for all poker games! We should email Poker room manager and call casino to put pressure on them to open room ASAP, and not go to any Ontario games that are raked. Rake generally kills action. A $15 rake in a 500 max 2/5 is insane. Brantford has chopped match the highest stack BTW. I'm sure they couldn't tolerate games that play above the rake. Do not support them.

If you can, always check the Bravo Poker app for this info. Poker is in fact open from 10am-4am daily I believe. On average, I would say they have two 1/3 tables and one 2/5 table open, however, this varies based on day of week and time of day.

Went for a little 2/5 punt tonight- 2 tables of 1/3 1 of 2/5. Game was ok but raking 15$/hand it's hard to justify returning. The phone number listed online wasn't working, pit boss gave me the following number to call in the future: 519-757-3306. Good luck out there!

Bravo has been glitchy, but generally theyve been packed this week.

They may be packed but whenever I check they at most have only 6 tables going.
The poker room has 10 tables so long lists with vacant tables.
Probably hence why packed.
They use to have 14 tables. Why did they shrink it to 10.
