Is it easy and safe to walk from Harrah's Resort to the Borgata? I have free rooms at Harrahs but I want to spend most of the time at the Borgata...is that easy to do without driving back and forth?

Its about a fifteen minute walk from poker roon to poker room. You can also take a jitney for two bucks...

Do they have a supermarket for groceries in AC?
04-17-2009 , 01:07 PM
They either have a Shop-Rite or PathMark out on the bay side. When you come into town on the Black Horse Pike, at the first right turn you can make, down about a mile on your left is a shopping center. It has the supermarket there...

The owner (he lives in my high rise in AC) is new about 12 months.

He is not happy with the business before I left for Vegas.

I'll see him in a couple of weeks when I return to AC.

Yeah, but how is the food?

You live in the Ocean Club?

I passed by Chinatown like restaurants in the midtown Pacific Avenue area. Are they good?

The food is not bad because he catered for an event last year at The Enclave.

The live there during the late spring/summer - mid fall.

Can't beat the Atlantic Ocean during that time!

The Melaka up the block from Howard Johnson's is really good. I like the Malaysian food there. Order from the menu with the pics, yum!!!

The one on the corner of Pacific is OK, but the service always sucks, very innattentive, even before ordering...

It was for unit owners after one our meetings.

Also he catered for a private party which was for all ethnic Russians/Ukrainians/Jews in the building.

I rememember the Sack'o'Subs stuff pre-meetings...

05-15-2009 , 04:21 PM
I remember hearing about an Italian joint that was supposed to be real good. For some reason I have it in my mind that it's downstairs. Does anyone know about this kind of thing?

If not, is there a decent Italian joint not in a casino? I'm bringing my wife down on monday (thanks borgata for the room) and want to dine at a non-casino/chain spot, if possible.
