There is always poker.
Just depends on what you want to play.
I don't know from the clubs/bars/etc., but there are a few other things to do in town.
There is a small historical museum, along with an equally small art museum - both located on a pier off the boardwalk in the Showboat/Revel area.
There is a historic lighthouse (you'll have to check on the hours.)
There is a nice little aquarium.
There is a Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum on the boardwalk.
There is miniature golf on the boardwalk. And another on the roof of Harrah's.
The shopping pier opposite Caesar's has a fountain that puts on a display once an hour. Free to watch.
Showboat has parades and performers - but you'll have to check on the schedule, might only be weekends. More free entertainment though.
Tropicana has already been mentioned.
Borgata has a lot of art glass by Dale Chihuly. Free exhibits all over the place. Check out the chandeliers!
Best buffets in town are at Borgata and Harrah's. Both have ardent supporters, but many of us simply acknowledge that they are both quite good. Borgata's is open for breakfast and lunch as well as dinner. Harrah's (except on weekends) is dinner only.
I've had really nice meals at just about every restaurant I've tried. Mostly the steakhouses at the 4 Harrah's properties (Showboat, Bally's, Harrah's, and Caesars.) Except for Harrah's, they are all on the boardwalk. The Italian eateries at those properties are also quite good - at least that's what I've found.
Obviously, personal opinions on this sort of thing differ, so if you ask 10 people you are quite likely to get 12 opinions.
Have fun! And welcome to Atlantic City.
