Post here with general questions or comments about AC; things like restaurants, bars, club, casino promotions, hotels, motels, tourist attractions, recreation, shopping, free parking, and community chest (strip clubs).

I am embarrassed to say, I have lived in AC for two years now, and I still never found Marvin's Gardens...

How about best places to eat/drink in the range of: $20, $50, $75 per person
I say (in my limited experience) Bill's, Ri Ra, and Knife& Fork
Honorable mention: Red Square for best martini

Where are the good massage parlors? Are they as good as Jimmy14 claims?

That's because it's a few miles down the road in Margate.

This is a valuable piece of info.

What makes their martini the best? How much is it?

Does Caesars have any food place open 24/7?

Cafe Roma on the third floor is, at least I am pretty sure during the week it is. Six over at Bally's is as well, though with a limited menu.

On a sidenote since I know many people do not know this, you can order and eat food at Caesars and Bally's, Bally's has a decent menu selection from Six, while Caesars you can get like a wrap ( limited selection ). And if your staying at Caesars I guess you can get room service delivered to the table, though that regular is so regular he is also Seven Stars.

The sushi joint out on the Pier at Ceasars is amazing. Go there for reverse happy hour starts at 9 pm. really cheap shushi and cheap martinis. Did I mention its amazingly good and cheap. Dinner for 2 costs me and my fiance around $60 for 6 rolls total and like 4 drinks a peice.

Ya gotta go for the poker player special in ceasars, chips and a hot dog, or a kind of ****ty premade salad, for the table side degens whom do not want to leave their game.

Showboat has the best deli in a casino I believe. But it is still a little pricey, but at least they give you some good food and sizable portions.

The chinese food place that delivers from 5pm to 5am, I think Hong Kong Palace or something, is pretty good, esp for 5am

Pickles Deli at Bally's was pretty good two weekends ago.

Does Bally's still have those awesome poker room hotdogs?

You should go next door to Trump Plaza. I believe they have a place called 24 Cafe or something like that. It's right by the lobby. It's open all night. I've been there for breakfast and after a night of drinking. Diner type menu, but slightly higher quality. Good variety. The food is pretty good. I recommend it.

The Taj used to have an asian poker pit with baccarat, paigow and paigow tiles and such. It has since been replaced by a bar with couches and tables and a few black jack tables. The noodle bar was right behind it and has been replaced by another noodle bar (nicer one) behind where the old noodle bar was previously. Sorry, you can't visit it anymore because the one where Worm and Mike D ate noodles is no more. But it was kind of cool although small. You still can check out the noodles at the newer and nicer noodle bar somewhat in the same place. Just walk in the front door past the poker room and there it is. They have nice chopped pork with rice for about $12 and good noodle soups. I take it you are not from the East Coast or have never been down to the Taj or AC. Where are you from peterchi?

How is the noodle bar? Would anybody recommend it? For my money, I like the Melaka, Malaysian and Chinese, between Atlantic and Pacific, up by the Howard Johnson's, right next door to the ***Official Needle Exchange Program.***

The Rim (noodle bar at Taj) is a little overpriced for what it serves, but I always use comps so it doesn't bother me much.

Classic Beef and Tendon Noodle Soup is my go to dish here. Lots of beef and fatty goodness, in a beefy broth (sometimes greasy is the only bad thing), with noodles. I get rice noodles.

If you want something lighter, go with seafood noodle soup. Awesome. Or pho. Can't go wrong with pho.

If not in mood for soup, I recommend Malaki (sp?) chicken, which is an appetizer. Chicken on a stick with peanut sauce. Yum.

Kalbi beef is also a good dish.

If you have room, get green tea ice cream.

I loved it back then, because you could eat a bowl of yummy soup for a $5 comp. It was very small though, seating like 10 at a time.

The noodle bar now is good, but costs me like $20 comp to eat. meh, it's still good.

I cant believe the Whitehouse has not been mentioned...

While I dont visit frequently (I refuse to pay for food when I have comps)...I remember it being good.

The newish Il Mulino in Taj is good, Taj tableside snack bar chili is good, it gives to power to sicken the table when you are ina hand!

Best steakhouse IMO is Morton's at Caesers...

Nothing beats a 4 AM fatburger before getting back on the parkway...it usually runs through me just in time for exit 63...

I live 30 mins away and dont know much about anything outside of the casino's in Atlantic city...**** I am a degen

The martini glasses at Red Square are a nice size and they keep them in the freezer. They keep most of the vodka in the freezer too, but make sure you ask them to use one of those because they'll use a bottle from the back bar if you don't. It doesn't make much difference because they shake it well. I usually get Stoli or Tito's vodka and it runs me $10 which is a little higher than average (or not, it depends on where you usually drink). However, the bar chairs are comfortable, the atmosphere is nice, and the bartenders are cool so it's worth it to me. The bathrooms are also the cleanest and nicest I've seen in AC.

If you want to watch a game and actually are willing to pay for a couple of beers then ADAMGOOD SportsBar in the TROP has $5 forties every night except saturday( which is then $8). 3 and 1/3 beers for 5 bucks is the best ROI you'll find for beers in AC.

I know their all generally the same, but imo the Ruths Chris on Atlantic was better then both the Manhatten one and weehawken
